My poor baby Sparrow is soo scared of the storm! He start following his dad everywhere. (Usually he goes where I go) ... but apparently I am for love and food, Luis is for protection! Poor baby is hiding under the Luis’s desk or in the closet. He really hates the lightning and the rain. We got him double CBD oil dose to calm his nerves.

Yesterday I was working with Kaju and Louie. Two adorable Aussies. Kaju is new into a family and still adjusting. Before he was living on a farm and was free to run everywhere he wanted. Now he is learning how to walk on the leash. Kaju is overexcited and overstimulated when outside, plus the concept of a leash is completely new for him. We practiced leash walking, positioning and eye contact. He made a progress but he has still more to learn.

We had do much fun together! Agility training is great activity that challenge the mind and the body. It is teaches to increase attention & focus, develops flexibility and body awareness. It helps to build trust and the confidence!

Meet Max, 5 year old schnauzer/yorkie mix who struggles with loud noises, fast movements, and other dogs on the walk. He is very triggered by delivery men, mailmen and trash trucks. His mom had a one goal for our training and that was to stop his reactive barking. On the consultation we went over importance of being a pack leader. I explained how spoiling Max without discipline and rules really affects him. After only couple of hours of me working with his mom and Max, and applying new rules we went for a walk. Max was able to walk on the leash without pulling and did not even bark once at passing dogs! His mom was very proud and happy!

Flashback on training session with Joey. We were training him basic manners before the walk and how to react on the open door. Most dogs run out as soon as doors opens. Joey learned to sit and stay while waiting on release command and invitation to go thought the door. Such a smart pup!! And he was only 4 months old!

My Sparrow and Bessie are learning how to use a doggy door 🐕🚪. Lucius that already knows how to use it is teaching them! Sparrow just followed him along but Bessie wasn’t so sure about it yet 😅

Firu with his mom .hrdz practicing leash walking. Look at them how great they are doing! You can see how Firu walks slowly on the side, not trying to go ahead or pull. He is checking in with her often and following her commands. He quickly figured out how clicker and treats works 😉. He absolutely enjoyed our session. Both his mom and I were very calm and relaxed and Firu matched our energy. Usually he is super energetic and jumpy pup that pulls and barks on the walk. Not this day though! When you start the right way you can transform the walk to the totally different experience!!

Meet Vida, 3 year old healer mix that got adopted by her new mom just few weeks ago. Vida had serious separation anxiety and was very ‘dramatic’ when left alone in a room. She also was reactive toward other dogs when leash walking. Her mom learned so much on our consultation and she already sees changes in her behavior after only one day! I taught her how to use a clicker, what to do on the walk, how to use food rewards and how important is our positive assertive energy. Now Vida’s mom is confident and have all she need to build a bond and perfect dog - human relationship. ♥️

How I found my passion

I started my journey with dog training after my family adopted a rescue from a local shelter. I was very involved in the whole process as I always loved animals and felt special connection especially towards dogs. My family adopted one and a half years old beagle / basset mix and named him Tio. I was visiting him very often as well as house sitting every time my family was traveling. I quickly realized that this cute little ball of fur was in charge. He spin us around his fingers. He eat when he wanted, he went out when he wanted, demanding treats, and constant attention. There was no rules and boundaries. He jumped on top of use, climbed on us when we sat on the couch, barked when no one pay attention to him for to long, or pulled on the leash on the walk so hard that you we could fall on the ground. And yet no one really noticed what was happening. After all everyone love him so much that his bad behavior was justified with a him being cute and still a ‘puppy like’ dog. Then I started doing some research on dog’s behavior to learn some simple dog training to try some simple techniques. Tio however was stubborn and nothing was really working for a long time. He always returned to his old habits. At the same time, I was between jobs and decided to volunteer in Houston SPCA to help out and learn more about dog’s behavior. I was able to work with hundreds dogs, and recognized even more behavioral issues that dogs were struggling with. What was sad, that for this reason sometimes owners surrender them. There was so much need, and I had a big desire to help. I started studying dog psychology, took courses online, read books, researched videos and followed the greatest dog trainers. I also started working at local doggy day care. I invested my time, self train my self and completely changed my career path. (I am economist by profession). It wasn’t easy, but I was motivated and simply happy, by doing what I love. I have learn how non verbally communicate with dogs, how to use my body language and how much our energy matters. I spend months and hundreds of hours studying and then practicing until I finally understood how dogs think, why they behave in certain situations and what to do to make our dogs to listen, respect and follow. This is something I would to share with people. My goal is to help as many dogs and dog owners I can reach. Ultimately when dog understand it’s owner expectations, rules and that the owner makes all the decision, dog will obey. And this is the key to make everyone happier, calmer and more harmonial.
