We lost our sweet Evi today. She had a normal morning, happily going about her day and then she all of a sudden collapsed. We think it was her heart. If dogs go to heaven she is most definitely there. We are thankful to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for putting such a loving, beautiful creature in our paths. Evi was a therapy dog and had a knack for knowing when humans needed comfort. In her honor, I may keep this page open and continue to share meme’s and photos of animals that bring love and encouragement to others.

Wow!!

"Sad night last night but today is a brighter day. The ewe (female sheep) on the left lambed a stillborn and we were unable to resuscitate it. She cried most of the night longing for her lamb after we removed it.

The ewe on the right lambed twins last week, though they were very small. It seems that today she has given one of her twins to the grieving mother to raise as her own. This is a photo of them together with their new children."

Six years ago today my people lost the one that went before me as she crossed the rainbow bridge. My Kelly says that she misses Daisy’s eyes, but that my quiet loving disposition reminds her of Daisy and she is thankful for that. I want to thank Daisy for breaking in my people and let her know that they think of her often. - Evi

We haven't posted in a log time, and I should probably close this page. COVID shut down the Dog Alliance’s therapy dog program. The program is currently being resurrected but in order to satisfy legal/ insurance requirements we have to recertify. I just don’t have the energy to go through all of that again. Our lives are busy and Evi is almost 9 so she is officially retired and she enjoys it! She goes for a walk each morning and a swim each afternoon. She is queen of our house and we are wrapped around her not so little paw. Boomer is wrapped around her paw too. She has more toys than a girl could ever hope for and still retrieves like a boss, especially in the lake. I believe that if Evi could speak English, she would tell you that “pet” is her favorite job. She is still available for loves and pets to all our friends and family though! God bless! - Kelly
