At Willow Bee Goods, we try and do our part by using compostable poly mailers or cardboard boxes which can be reused, recycled, or composted. We also reduce excessive packaging by not including lots of marketing materials in your actual order and wrapping clothing in cotton twine vs plastic packaging.
Thank you for shopping small and supporting our environmentally-friendly efforts!
How are you spoiling your pup today?
This is a TikTok repost, but think the solution is helpful for a lot of people who say they can't give their dog anything toy-wise. Every dog deserves enrichment, no matter what!
Have more questions you want me to answer? Ask them below!
I'll try not to make this long-winded! In short, enrichment will prevent destruction from your dog.
Why? It gives them a proper, safe outlet for behaviors that would do anyways because it's in their DNA. For example, let's say your dog loves to chew on your shoes. We don't want them to chew on our shoes because we don't want to keep buying new shoes, but no matter what your dog wants to chew.
How do we fix it? We give them something to chew on or rip up instead that is invaluable to us. A good example would be a cardboard box to rip up or a Hol-ee Ball filled with fabric strips. Whether you buy enrichment or DIY it, just remember it doesn't have to be complicated in order to be effective!
Dogs will show these natural behaviors, whether it's chewing, digging, jumping, etc. but it's our job as their owners and companions to show them proper ways to exhibit those behaviors.

Let's talk about it. Is pumpkin actually beneficial for dogs?
The short answer: absolutely! Pumpkins are rich in carotenoids which is great for skin & eye health, vitamin E which helps with heart function, iron which helps hemoglobin production, and potassium, which helps nerves & muscles to work properly. It's also full of fiber and is amazing for your dog's digestive system!
An easy way to incorporate pumpkin into your dog's enrichment is to use canned pumpkin, which you will probably see all over the shelves of your grocery store around this time of year. Make sure there are no additives, which means skip the pumpkin pie filling, which may have xylitol in it.
