It was Peggy’s last walk with Hooves and Paws today 🥺. She’s moving out of my area this week, far, far away, but I’m certain her next dog walker will love her as much as I do and they’ll enjoy lots of adventures together. There will be new friends to be made too. Exciting times ahead for this girl.

I first met Peggy on the 10th July 2021. She was just a pup then. I remember the first time I met her so clearly, like it was yesterday. I’m so happy to have been her dog walker for over 4 years. She’s given me so many happy memories over the years and I will cherish all of them.

Peggy’s mum gave me a lovely card, bottle of wine and some hero’s chocolates. I’ll save the wine for the weekend but the chocolates have already been demolished 😋

It’s National Dog Walker Appreciation Day today and I’d like to take a moment to share my appreciation for my favourite dog walker friends whose support I’d be lost without. It can be a lonely job without people to share highs and lows with. These girls always have my back and I have theirs too. It’s what makes the job even greater, having like minded friends who share the same passion for the pets they care for.

Thought I’d share this again. As always I’m really looking forward to having all the Hooves and Paws gang back together after the holiday season. Thank you to all my lovely customers for keeping me so busy. You are all so appreciated. 🐾

I’m so looking forward to getting all my dogs back next week.

I always enjoy being a bit quieter in the school holidays. It gives me the chance to recoup and keeps me fresh for those busier times so the dogs always get the best of me.

I can’t wait to see the ones I haven’t seen for a few weeks though. I have missed them so much.

Don’t forget I am looking to take on new dogs to the Hooves and Paws gang and I don’t mind a term time contract at all so if you’re a teacher, teaching assistant or do another school related job and are in need of a dog walker give me a call, 07981 266233.

Unfortunately it was another home visit for Albus today as although his poorly paw is getting better it’s still not 100%. His family are buying him some funky boots so he can hopefully join in walks again soon.
