Chilly, snowy days don’t slow these pups down! ❄️🐾
Even with the colder weather, everyone was full of joy and energy today. Watching them explore the snow, sniff around, and enjoy every moment was the highlight of my day. Grateful for the little reminders that happiness can be as simple as a snowy walk with good company. 💙

A Big Milestone for Miya 💛✨

Today marked Miya’s first walk with us, and it was a truly meaningful moment. Since she wasn’t part of the original meet-and-greet, we’ve had to build trust gently and patiently from the very beginning.
Miya is naturally very anxious around new people and will retreat quickly from anything sudden or unfamiliar. To help her feel safe, I used a higher surface along with plenty of her favorite treats, and after taking things slowly and respectfully, she allowed me to clip on her leash.
Once we stepped outside, she blossomed—sniffing, exploring, and taking in the world with growing confidence.
Building trust with anxious dogs takes time, skill, and a deep understanding of canine body language. There are no shortcuts. But moments like today remind us just how rewarding compassion and patience can be.
So proud of this brave girl and the progress she made today. 🐾💕
