Chow Time! 😋 The puppies are eating Life’s Abundance All Stages kibble twice a day in addition to Mama’s milk. It is soaked in goats milk to soften. I add NuVet Plus daily supplement for their vitamins and Firm Up dehydrated pumpkin digestive aid. We feed the firm up during this transitional weaning time to help keep their stool solid and prevent diarrhea from deworming meds. The Toy Story Crew had their first try at drinking goats milk on their own. It’s a wet, messy and noisy activity but they loved it!

The Toy Story crew has been working on some early scent introduction and touch tolerance exercises as well. Remember, puppies are born deaf & blind and rely heavily on their sense of smell for the first 2 wks of life. Early Scent Introduction benefits include early nose awareness & confidence especially for hunting, tracking, and diabetic alert dogs to name a few. The puppies also had their nails trimmed today.
