Look how sweet these 2 oldies are. I was pet sitting Max, the German Shepherd over the weekend, his doggy friend from across the road came to visit him while I was there like she does most days, & they happily chilled out together relaxing & napping inside

Hi all
Due to a change in circumstances recently I will not be able to accept any pet sitting overnight bookings for a bit, & I am unsure if I will be able to take on more in the future either. I can still do visits during the day for the time being.
Any bookings already made I will still do, don't worry:) I just won't be able to take on anymore right now.

Hope you have all got through the worst of this weather safely.
We didn't get flooded out at home but some friends did, so I have their parrot, 4 cats + their neighbour's cats at mine. My parrots don't know what to think of the intruders, & my cat is not happy my time is being more spread out 😄 but all are safe thankfully. Wish more people animal's stayed safe during this time. Very heartbreaking & hard to know what's to come. I dint really have much more space at home for more pets, but if needed, do let me know & I could try see how I can help.
I will try be online when possible, but still getting no service or power so only online when I can poach from someone.

Puppies!!! How cute are these girls 😍 They were only born Wednesday so still very young. Mumma dog is soooo good with them. They are drinking well & growing fast already. Cute, healthy little babies 🥰

This sweet old boy 🥰
I am not much of a morning person, but when I pet sit Tosca, I have to be very set with alarms to make sure I don't miss any of his insulin injections that he needs every 12 hours. Usually in the morning it takes me about 4 alarms just to get up & go do his injections & morning feed (yes, I'm one of those people 😆) & then I usually try go back to bed for a bit if I don't have anything else I need to be up for quite yet 🤣 but never do I miss any injections as I know how important they are for this boy. Other than being diabetic, he looks like quite a healthy older boy. 🤞🤞🤞 it stays like that for a while still

Been a bit slack with uploading to the page recently... but here is a couple photos from over New years.
Tui loves her sleep, but we both had to get up early to come back over Taradale way to inject the diabetic cat, Tosca (who will be in next post)
After we would do that, we would go to my house being closer by, which Tui would then cone in & see my cat, Missy Moo, who is quite used to some pet sit dogs coming & going from the house now, but as you can see, she's not always impressed about it 😆

Hi everyone.
I haven't posted in a few weeks as the app seems to not be letting me post photos at the moment.
I have however still been on bookings so will try add photos when it let's me. Thought in the last week the app would have fixed to be able to post the photos now.

I would also like to say a big thankyou to all my pet sit clients. You have all been amazing!
I am fully booked for pet sit stays over all of December & January, & some of the public holidays already in the first few months of next year. I may still be able to take on some pet sit visits, but will be cutting back on how many I take on as since being back working again, I am finding I am very busy between work & pet sit bookings.

Many will have seen Tosca, the diabetic cat I often visit & inject with insulin while his owners are away. I have been looking after him the past week making sure he's well looked after for the time I'm with him. He's getting much older each visit but is still a sweet gentle boy

5 years ago I was asked to help a couple different friends to look after their pets.
That's where this all started.

I never thought it would turn into what it is now, but it has been lovely meeting so many animals & their owners. I have had an amazing time.
Although I am still pet sitting, I have had to take a slight step back now with starting a job, but I am happy to keep taking bookings where possible & helping out when I can:)

A weekend with a bit of this & a bit of that. This was one of the first places I did a pet sit at a few years ago now... one of my friends that told me I should offer pet sitting services to more people. I never thought at the time I would have the amount of clients I do now but it's been a nice time, I've met some awesome people & many sweet pets ❤️

This afternoon I visited 4 dogs from 3 different homes, + I'm pet sitting 5 dogs in TukiTuki currently so has definitely been a dog day!
Aren't all these babies so pretty 😍
Skye & I had a lovely walk out Havelock. I played with Korra until she was a tired pup. Then went out westshore to walk the last 2 before tucking them up for the night. All very different but lovely in their own special ways 🥰

2 little fluffies are waiting for their owners who will be back home soon.
I don't usually bring other pets to mine, but this week I decided to see how the 2 dogs got on at my home, which included my cat, Missy Moo. Although she had her sulky looking moments about them coming over, they all got on fine & she didn't mind coming up to them or having their tales wag in her face 😄 it meant I was able to get quite a bit of unpacking & sorting done at home which was awesome, & being a fully fenced section, I knew the little dogs were safe & happy getting to run around while I pottered around getting stuff done, then we would go back to their home to make sure we all got settled in for the night

I am on a pet sitting booking this week with 2 smaller dogs, I don't usually take other's animals to my home but I do on the odd occasion, & if they are fine with my pets then I don't mind taking them there more often so I get more stuff done around home (the joys of recently moving)
My old girl kitty, Missy Moo came with me when I moved, she is not overly fearful of dogs so I know that if the dogs are fine with her, then she is fine with them... I think she secretly has liked having the dogs around during the day the past couple days, but I won't ask her as I know she would deny it 😆

It's been a few days of Bordercollies... this weekend I was looking after this older girlie. She needed lots of cuddles as sadly her doggie friend was very frail & had to pass over the rainbow bridge only a couple weeks ago. She is so sweet though, taking it all quite well. I will be looking after her again in a couple weeks too, so you may see more of her then

Spent a night with these 2 sweethearts, just love Bordercollies, I've always had a soft spot for their beautiful fur & smart minds... these 2 couldn't really get more different to each other but are both very sweet & smart.
I had a lovely time looking after them 🥰

Last night & this morning I spent some time with this lot.
If you've been on here for a while, you may recongise this lot as they are somewhat a regular... however, out of all the times I've pet sat there, I don't think Snowy has ever slept in the bed with me, usually only Rocket & Benji take bed duties over but this time I had snowy wanting extra attention too... which I didn't mind at all 😁

Big puppies, young puppies, sleepy puppies, rascal puppies 😄
There was alot going on, but it was a fun experience looking after all these little ones. Ginge helped me sleep after some busy days, wouldn't believe after the many times I've pet sat there, that this one is the first time I've seen Ginge... he's lived there the whole time but had never come around when I was there 🤣

My brother is also helping share love to them all as theres so many to cuddle & only a couple pairs of hands at a time to give the cuddles 😄
I have heart eyes for the little golden runtie so it may just get slightly more cuddles, but shhhh, the other puppies can't know 😄 😍😄

Each week I usually take these girls out for a walk. I thought I'd get them out for a good walk before the weather is meant to turn. First time I've taken them down into water today but they loved it after working extra hard to fetch the ball on our walk

This weekend I spent some time looking this fluffy boy, first time with him.
Albus is a very sweet happy little dude, can really run when he's in his playful mood, but also very happy to snuggle up & have a good sleep in 😄

Spent the past couple days out with these guys.
Noggi the pony has been on meds for his laminitis. Flossy is still loving her bottle feeds & a new sheep was added to the family since I was last here.
Missing from the photos is the other cat, he was often around in the evenings but out & about chilling during the day.
I will see these guys again next booking

This weekend I also pet sat these 2. Possibly the last time I'll see them before their big move to the south island.
I watched a movie this evening that had a dog in it. Ester thought it was cool trying to talk to tv dog, Levi wondered why she kept barking at the TV 😆

Yep, none of us want to be out there!

This Easter weekend I've been doing 2 bookings. I'm staying out Clive with a few pets, so will share some photos & videos over the next week with them. This video however is Tosca, the diabetic cat I often look after. He needs insulin injections 12 hours apart everyday, so having alarms on & being on time for each injection is a must. He is sooo good though, never flinches with the needle, always easy to find, especially at this time of year when he's usually cuddled up inside anyway

These 2 girls, Mabel & Matilda are always super happy to get some pellets. Best time of the day is feed time

Floss having a big feed the other day. Her owners are now back home & happy to see her healthy & happy
