We did it! Wanted to wait to post until we had our shed test back. Here we are. Pastel Lesser Spotnose Yellowbelly VPI Axanthic Desert Ghost. So happy to hatch this boy out. My wife has already named him Captain Hook.

Well. We got some shed tests back. Turns out we have a male and female spotnose desert ghost that both tested negative for VPI Axanthic. Of course it’s Ross and Rachel. Rachel is the one pictured, she weighs 1280 grams. Ross is at 950 grams. Both will be available if anyone is interested. Let’s hope we get more positive news with the rest of the sheds! On a positive note, Monica is Het VPI Axanthic!! Personally I always liked Rachel more! Phoebe still needs to be tested lol.

This girl is finally building nice follicles. She is a leopard VPI Axanthic Pied, and she is paired to a Blackhead VPI Axanthic Het Pied. The first time we saw a blackhead axanthic pied, we knew we had to try a create one. No better time than now. So happy to see the progress, can’t wait to see the results!!

Got pieds? Pairing from this clutch was a female pastel leopard pied het vpi axanthic to a male leopard cinnamon double het vpi axanthic pied. Doesn’t look like we hit any axanthics. Although it’s hard to tell with those cinnamon pieds. They all seem to have more yellowish tones on the heads. Anyone else have a cinnamon axanthic pied? Just interested to see. We will be taking better pictures once we have a little more time. Just thought I’d share some quick pics before putting them away. We might have a bunch of Pieds available soon 🥳
