Noooo our place where our dogs get to run and where we start from when we are training is filled with glass.. a big window, 3x3 meters crashed in the storm… SO i have the fun job now to vacuum it up 😅🤷‍♀️ well it is kind of satisfying in a strange way but no free runs for the dogs in a while 😩

Så med alla hundattacker som sker är jag ännu mer stolt över mina hundar, som har fri vilja, de fungerar i de flesta miljöer och jag tar mitt ansvar där jag vet det finns risker. Min ras har hög jaktinstinkt som är lite annorlunda än jakthundars då dom jagar till sig själva och är avlade för att överleva och ta egna beslut. Det gäller att jag förstår mig på detta och försöka vara ett steg före. Det är inte lätt!
Som ny kennel ÄR det inte lätt att veta allt, ingen vet allt men det är upp till oss att ta ansvar och läsa på.

Men det skulle kunna göras mer för nya uppfödare, för nya hundägare. Det behövs mer stöttning.
Det behövs resurser och stopp för okontrollerad avel. det behövs mer hälso undersökningar!

Det jag reagerade på igår är veterinär priser, nu anklagar jag inte kliniker eller veterinärer alls! Detta går högre upp. Att hälsoundersöka en hund är dyrt. Som ansvarig uppfödare vill man ju att vartenda valp man föder upp också skulle hälsotestas. Men hur ska en uppfödare ha råd att undersöka en 10 valpar i en kull? När alla priser stiger. Grannländer är betydligt billigare än Sverige, men där skulle finnas något typ av stöd för ansvariga uppfödare.. En tanke sådär på en torsdag..

Bara HD/ED röntgen på 1 hund går på en 4000kr, det är bara en undersökning.. Två hundar på röntgen och ögonlysning, ja då närmar du dig 10.000kr.
Det uppmuntrar ju inte människor som inte helt har kunskapen om att den så kallade friska rasen verkligen är frisk fortfarande.. Dold smärta ger problem, även mentalt.. Och det finns MÅNGA sjukdomar som också är rent genetiska.

Det är väldigt mycket som hade behövt att göras för hundarnas välfärd samt uppfödare och ägare.

Nu är det såklart något man tar på sig som uppfödare att bara glatt se till att göra!

memory from 2 years ago when Luna took Best In Show 3 at polar dog show ❤️

Longing for more shows but it won’t be as many this year. Well.. you never know 😂 But we will focus a bit more on dryland racing this year. Now when the girls is starting to calm down i will have to work harder to keeping them in shape. and keeping myself in shape 😅 so we will do more balance training and i will try to remember to record it better 🤭🤷‍♀️

Tried to have Mike with me at work yesterday. Had no choice with mom sick (pic 2 on her leg, and sick from the antibiotics) and ofc not able to handle 2 testosterone boys and 2 girls in perfect heat 🤣 well that is to much for a healthy person without kennels.

So Mike has learned that he can jump 1,20 meter.. no problem at all.. so i build a half rooftop.. took him 5 minutes to break lose.. no point to put him in a crate, he would rather destroy his teeth.. Thank god he is a husky so he could sit in the car for an hour.. then i tried in a room with the door going inwards and handle up, nope that took 30 minutes.. looked the door and he was about to destroy the door.. 🤦‍♀️ So Mike is a typical Husky Houdini when the girls is in heath or when daddy is not home…
only a few days left this time.. have to come up with a plan for spring …
Our girls is now really mature enough to be breed so both Shippe and Mike is pain in the as.. we have one kennel but we live with close by neighbors so that is a no go, he will scream ALOT…

1-0 to Mike vs me… But i will figure him out…
and no, a bone, frozen meat doesn’t help either, he couldn’t care less 😅

My poor Chio, veterinarian appointment is booked. Bad tooth, something strange in his nose + yuck, skin irritation, some new lumbs.. He has been cranky and now i know why.. ❤️

Mike is a special one but i guess it takes a husky to want to run around, snow bathing soaking wet after a bath 🤯 let’s get dry before he gets cold 🤦‍♀️

So Queenie has learned me a new trick, if i say boboo she says booboo and then i shall give her treats! So this is her latest nickname booboo, and it does make sense after all ❤️ there is also 3 different booboos, a high one, demanding treats now or else!! a normal bobo, like hi, attention and treats and the booubooou, a lower, sad bobo wich is i need sympathy and treats 🥺 #huskylife #accordingtoqueenie

Introducing treadmill for the dogs, 3 minutes and they are dead in their brains 😂❤️❤️ oddly enough, Mike rocked it! Queenie said this mental moving sh*t ain’t my thing… Shippe said, bring the candy and i will do anything 😂❤️

I guess Luna is not a fan of dalmations 😅🙈

Mike loves Coffe, but only wants it some days! maybe he need that energi for his sanity, who knows 🤷‍♀️ so who am i to say no? but i make sure to drink it up first 😝
