Very nice of Kerryanne to raise funds for Max but with all the negativity and constant barraging on different pages of how these particular funds are being used Max’s slave and associated parties think its best to return the £312.50 raised however Alison Freed has insisted the £50 she donated is kept for him
So seeing as ABR are struggling to raise funds for there dogs that have been in kennels for a fair bit of time we will be sending back £262.50 to Kerry anne
Anyone that donated to Kerryannes,s plea and wishes a refund please contact Her direct

Max now has several sponsors and a fair few people offering without any caveat’s for his needs so he will be fine

“I have been having some lovely walks, I pretend I don't know how to walk next to the lady because then I get chicken to remind me hehehe.
I haven't been growly for a week now, I go on nice walks and because I'm a good boy I can go off my lead, the lady shows me she has chicken first and then I don't wander too far away. I'm learning I need to look at her face quite often, then I know what's happening and I get chicken if I do.. all in all I think I might have settled in..”

Hi, Sally Crocker here, one of Max’s admin.
I was wondering how many of you have owned a deaf dog, or have had experience of deaf dogs.
What are your experiences, what advice would you give to owners who find out their dogs are deaf?

I find that it’s good to share experiences.
I was hoping we could have a discussion on experiences and the do’s and dont’s.

So nice people lets get back on track here
Its me mighty Max. Well I have been here over a week now, I have the slave well trained bringing me food and letting me go at my own pace, we’ve been practising da walk, without me pulling everywhere one cant help but want to sniff every blade of grass be wrude to leave one out.

I am slowly putting on weight I’m going be a muscle machine what with my piercing blue eyes I am a handsome chap if I do say so myself.
Now I have had a bit of time to settle in I am off to see the doggie doctor as long as he has dat chicken I am ok with that.

I am continuing with what the slave thinks is training with hand gestures but I am a clever pup and have now learnt a few, I do sometimes forget (wink wink) but a bit of dat chicken soon helps to remind me.

Being deaf I can only communicate through my voice so when i see the other dogs moving their lips I do too, I am asking if they have chicken and their own human slave too not sure what there answering I expect I will have better introductions to them soon.

And now its play time I have lots of raggy toys that some nice people sent me and I like to throw them about the place. I have a favourite one that I take to bed with me, its such a special toy, I call him ted he don’t move his lips but thats ok he don’t pinch my chicken either.

Statement from his rescue for the deaf dog

Unfortunately due to the amount of trolling and awful comments, I have been reluctant to ask anywhere for help.
Max almost missed out on some amazing support because of this, thankfully DDN were persistent and have shown themselves to be utterly trustworthy and now max has this added resource to help him become the best he can be and live his best life.
They aren't interested in sides, this page isn't interested in sides,
Max has an army of amazing friends and I have no doubt that he knows how loved he is.
The lack of updates has been my decision entirely, due to not wanting negative publicity for him.
I appreciate everything done to get him here but now please, if you want to support max, follow this page.
If you don't want to support him, leave him alone now to get on with being a puppy.
Any further attacks against individuals or groups will only highlight him in the worst possible way and it is my sincere hope that at some point, he will be looking for his own home, please don't jeopardize that.

Hi Max here, I’ve been made aware that people are sending a lady money for me.
My mummy / slave has not asked for this money as it’s not needed.
Can I ask that you don’t send the lady money for me, if my mummy needs help then we will post on my page for help.
Please don’t send money to anyone else for me.

My mummy says this
“Max’s rescue doesn't want any more funds due to the constant fighting and just wants him to be able to be a dog like any other.
We don't feel we can accept anymore due to all the bad mouthing of the people helping him and the magnifying glass on everything they do “

These are currently the only two people whom I am willing to send funds to myself on Max’s behalf.

This is currently the only arrangements I am happy with.
Anything else I will be sending back.🐾

People seem to be mis reading this post so I will try to make it clearer.
Any future funds etc that Max’s rescue require will be posted to this page. The only two people the rescue will allow funds for Max to go through from now on are those mentioned above.
This is the request for going forward until further notice.

Good morning, not a Max update so to speak. We feel the need to do a post to explain the situation. There are people writing comments on threads all over the place, people hiding behind fake profiles, people who are spreading lies regarding Max.
Max is safe, we have direct contact with his new mummy/slave.
We get constant updates/ videos/ photographs of his progress. He is doing extremely well with his training, he has an amazing connection with his mummy/slave.
Please stop with the speculations and the negative comments regarding how Max was removed from his old rescue.
The old rescue have stayed away from the Max drama. Why do these people feel the need to post negative comments.
There were several people involved in getting him safe and it’s all been done above board with zero drama.
Just because some people choose not to shout from the roof tops regarding what they are doing, this does not mean things are not being done in the correct way.

We will ask Max’s mummy/slave if she can give us an update soon for the people who are genuine supporters and have his well being at heart.

People are reporting fund raisers for Max, this isn’t just the one set up by a friend of his old owner. It includes fund raisers from
others.
This means we are now looking at other ways to raise funds.

Hi, Max here
I feel the need to tell you all that my new mummy gives me the best kisses and cuddles 🥰
I am enjoying myself so much at my new home. My mummy and me have become really close with each other. I think this means I trust her, I’m not going to be falling for that love thing though, that’s yucky 🤮

Here is a photo with me bossing the walks with my mummy, I am getting to be such a good boy now. I know I got far to go still, but I really am loving me life at the moment.

Day 3
Hi its me again , well i did not want to get out of bed today all cosy was I but the slave came in with my breakfast, i stayed where i was think breakfast in bed would be nice
If i stay here long enough perhaps she will even hand feed me “Oh it better be dat Chicken “
but No she beckoned me with her hand yep i understand that of course the smell of my brekky helped !
The slave took a bit out my bowl and made a gesture with her hand must admit i was a bit confused so i sat down to see if the slave had in fact gone a bit mad but to my surprise she gave me a piece of meat, she looked really happy so when she made the gesture again i sat straight away ( No flies on me) guess we’ve started to communicate if it includes food I’m up with that so as away of letting the slave know i understood i let out a little botty burp well a big one really
Well at least i know now how to tell the slave to leave me in peace to eat my brekky !

Day 2

Max here, my new slave lady has been working hard with me.
I am eating like a king 👑

My slave lady says I am being wormed and having some treatment to prevent fleas.
I over heard her saying that my ⚽️’s will be coming off.
I don’t know what she means but it don’t sound like fun.

I am being exercised lots and having a lot of fun.

I will be having test done for my eyes and a doggy mot.

Please don’t worry about me, I’m having a really good time. And getting the bestest cuddles ever.

Max’s blog day 1

So first day of my new life ( well thats what everyone keeps calling it)
Hi its me Max thought i would just let you know how my proper first day has been
Well after a good old snooze last night with all these new smells and lovely surroundings i woke to a lovely bowl of grub ! “the words i need building up was banned about which is fine by me if it involves food “ i have been bit weary of these new faces but hey ho i am going to give it my all and by lunch time i was taking food off the ( i will call her slave) Slaves hand well it was tasty chicken !
I have a large area to run about so i could meet all these new faces
I hope they all have chicken ! 🙂
Its been a long day and i am getting tired now so after my dinner i will have a bit of shut eye I wonder what tomorrow brings Chicken i hope

Good morning, we are hoping to have a nice update for you all later. We are aware that post are being put up else where calling this page “ glory hunters “.
There really is no glory, Max is safe, surely that’s what matters here?
Please don’t confuse us with people who glory hunt. Every thing we have done to help Max has all been done in private.
At no point have we asked anyone for money, we have not posted any where until yesterday when we opened this page in order to provide updates on Max.
We are in direct contact with his rescue. Anything we post will be with permission by the rescue.
Anything we post will have been provided to us by his rescue.
I’m pretty sure that is not classed as “ glory hunting”.

Max Is on his freedom run, he has been a really good boy in the car.
We can’t wait for pics off him at his new place.
What a lucky boy he is, he is totally oblivious to the amount off work that’s been going on in the back ground to get him safe.

Every one who we worked with has kept things away from social media in order to ensure his safety.

This page and the people behind it have no connection with any other group / page / fund raisers, that have been used in his name.

We will be using this page to bring you updates on Max living his amazing new life.
As you are aware Max was due to be put to sleep by the rescue he was under. His life was saved and he will now be living his days out in the hands of some truly amazing people.

This page will be doing regular fund raisers in order to help with the cost of keeping Max and to help cover cost of his additional needs.
