Kota update:

Feeling good everyone!! Food became delicious (!!!) once again on the weekend and I enjoyed not only my own meals but I kinda stole from my buddy Max too. Yum. Today I got this special blanket and a toy from an organisation that makes them for pets going through medical crisis. It's a beautiful blanket and although it's a little warm to cuddle up in it today, I'm going to sleep in it all winter long while I continue to kick ass

Hi everyone! I've been a badly updating puppy but things have been busy and I've been busy resting up from radiation and enjoying being back home... And today I had my first chemotherapy treatment so it was a big day! I'm feeling a little sleepy now cos I got some "happy drugs" for my ultrasound but luckily it showed no evidence of any metastasis and my bloodwork was good too! I was super brave for my chemo, and although I got a bit sassy with some of the other dogs walking by my kennel at the hospital I was a really good girl. I even got this wicked bandana that was made by another chemo patients mom for all of us getting these treatments!

Well that's about it for today, back to bed for me as I gotta sleep off these drugs and get lots of rest to keep on fighting

Kota-update! Mz Kota was admitted to Western Veterinary Specialist and Emergency Centre on Tuesday morning (after a comfy snooze in the hotel bed and some fun in the park) and had her planning CT that morning (with no surprises!). She underwent her first radiation treatment yesterday and did well. I've been updated that she is settling in well, eating and not too anxious (although she didn't want to p*e for the staff!). Her lovely "auntie" Kat took her for a walk yesterday evening and she was happy to p*e for her finally ;) She apparently likes the staff at Western and was happy to go back and greet them after her walk!
