They are 4 months old and looking for indoor homes only. They are both very friendly and love attention. Thea loves to curl up and cuddle on your neck. Can you believe that Haze and Thea haven’t gotten any applications or inquiries for adoption?

Dorothea (Thea)- black and white female- she loves to cuddle and purr but also has a sassy/playful side. She has a very loud purr and loves to snuggle into your lap. She is still learning how to play nice with her claws, so she wouldn’t be a good fit for small children. 🖤🤍

Haze-gray male-he is very playful and independent. He is a little shy but is starting to warm up. He is also very curious. 🩶

KARMA is a cat! Calling all Swifties and kitten LOVERS. GPARS took in these kittens who are looking for their purrfect furever homes. They will be available for adoption in about a week, due to needing treatment for fleas and tapeworms 😝 Adoption fee will be $30 each or $50 if you take two together. Preference would be for two to go together. I will be accepting applications and will choose the best possible home for each kitten. These kittens are available as INDOOR ONLY.

We had a very generous local business, whom prefers to remain anonymous, donate 45 alfalfa bales to the rescue today to help with Calypso and others like her. We can’t thank them enough for their support. 🩵 Donations like this help us continue to help more animals. As a newly started rescue, we are always looking for donations of items to help with caring for foster and sanctuary animals. Meet Calypso, GPARS newest rehabilitation project. We got her from a sweet neighbor who saved her from a bad situation. She is mostly unhandled and has to be roped to be caught, currently. But we hope to build trust with her and over time are hoping she will become a kids pony. Her name is Calypso because of her one blue eye. Updates on her progress will be posted to this page. 💗🦄

Today GPARS placed a mama cat and her whole litter of tabby babies in their new home at our friend’s farm. Amanda Sailer found these sweet kittens in her neighborhood in Mandan and worked really hard to trap mama, who is feral. She was successful, they were all reunited and are now all going to live together as barn kitties. Amanda has called and all the rescues in Bismarck are completely full on intakes for cats and kittens so please remember to spay and neuter your pets! Luckily, this family gets to stay together!💗🐾

GPARS got this kitten all cleaned up from ear mites and placed her in her new home with one of our neighbors today. They tragically lost one of their kittens in an accident and their other kitten was missing her sister, so they wanted to find her a friend. As you can see, she wasn’t the happiest with getting her ears cleaned, but she was very brave. I made a kitten burrito and by the end she was falling asleep. She was very surprised to learn of what was in her ears.
GPARS loves connecting animals in need of homes, to their forever homes. This is one of our primary missions.

Over the weekend, GPARS placed our foster kitten “Tux” in his new forever home in Minneapolis. He was found outside as a young kitten by a nice couple in Flasher that wanted him to find a good forever home. He was a gift from wife to husband for their 50th wedding anniversary. He is home and he is very loved already.

GPARS in Bismarck ND is looking for different size dog crates for donation. Please let me know if you have one you would like to donate to help GPARS rescue more animals. George Jones (white kitten) is in temporary foster while his humans are on vacation, he was rescued from the middle of the road out in the country. I estimate him to be about 5-6 weeks which is too young to be away from mama, so he is getting extra love and attention. And the handsome black kitten is a stray found in the country by Flasher ND that will be going to his forever home in the Minneapolis area in the next couple weeks. Please message me if you have any kennels or other applicable pet supplies that you would like to donate. Thank you!

GPARS trapped this poor old guy on our neighbors property in a live trap. He had terrible matting down to the skin, ear mites, and lots of sores and scabs. GPARS was able to get him connected with Kitty City so he can get all fixed up. He will likely live out his days at the Kitty City Sanctuary, or will go up for adoption once he is all healed up. 💙

Hazel (aka Sonic) has the brightest most curious eyes. She is more timid, but warms up once she gets to know you. Loves to purr and give kisses. She has very cool tiger stripes just like her sister Ember. Ember and Hazel can go to homes together if preferred, as they are best friends. They have had their first set of shots and are scheduled for their second in a couple weeks. Indoor home only. They are 11 weeks old. $40 rehoming fee or $50 if you take them both together. Kittens available for adoption. Ember (aka Watermelon) is a very sweet girl. She is a little shy at first but warms up very quickly. Her coloring is very unique with her orange tiger stripes. She loves to play and chase things. I am looking for an indoor home. She is great with dogs and other cats. Can go along with her sister Hazel, as they are best friends. Baby is…well…the baby, she was born one day after all 3 of her litter mates. I thought there was only 3 in the litter, the next day I find this little thing, the most colorful of the bunch. She is starting to build up her confidence to play and explore with her siblings.

Just a little update on Clover. We have fully bonded him with our bunny Popcorn, and he has moved into her enclosure. They are often found cuddling and rarely leave each others’ sides. So it’s safe to say that Clover now has a permanent home at Golden Palomino Acres. 💙🐰🐰💗

My only complaint is that they love to make messes together 🤦🏻‍♀️😆
