Not the least bit impressed with me when she got home from the Vets yesterday! She came home conless, but had to have it put on due to her biting the incision site, all the whilst growling and screaming at herself! Poor girl, i think she was still a bit out of it! The cone lasted a half hour and ended in shenanigans and a failed escape attempt, mum to the rescue (much to her dismay) and she was freed. Has been OK overnight and doesn't seem to be mouthing at it much. Appetite hasn't been affected, scranned her dinner and settled for the night 😴
This morning she awoke me with big purrs and head butting and was just generally more herself 🥰

Dropped off at 8.30am for spay and microchip. Hopeful she'll fly through it and be home before tea time ❤️ Here's a Hank...

Hello everyone 👋🏼 I am Cala.

I was found on the 31st May on the back of a lorry that had travelled from Stirling to Gullane inside the outer kit of a house being used to build a Cala Home (hence my name).

I travelled so very far, and once I arrived in Gullane the outer kit I was hiding in was hoisted 9ft in the air! I am surprised anyone could hear my faint teeny meows.

My new Mum received a call from my new Dad, to come and help me and she took me to The Cat Clinic where they estimated me to be around 3 weeks old and a tiny 370g. My new Mum knew she would love and care for me - but I needed her help. She had to hand feed me since no one in Stirling could find my Cat Mum or possible litter mates despite looking for them for a while.

My new Mum got up with me throughout the night, stayed in touch with the vets at The Cat Clinic, and made sure I was growing big and strong. I am so happy she found me and took me in.

Now I am nearly 8 weeks old, weighing around 1.055kg. I am a happy, healthy, playful little kitten and I am so very thankful to everyone who has helped me.

As of 9th of August I had my second set of injections, 2nd dose of wormer and I weight 1.61kg. Mum is just waiting for me to be over 2kg before I go for spaying.
