As the weather begins to get nicer and you take your kiddos to a local pond or lake to feed the ducks and geese, please keep this bit of info in mind.🙏🙏🙏

Another FYI

Feeding bread causes permanent damage to ducks and geese. They develop angel wing. They can not migrate or fly to avoid predators. PLEASE DO NOT FEED BREAD to ducks and geese. Cracked corn, corn, peas, mealworms, romaine lettuce, watermelon, grapes CUT into pieces, cantaloupe……are a few good options!

The Washington German shepherd rescue is in need of food for our dogs in our care. We have puppies and young dogs that were pulled from fields that need to be fed everyday. This community has been so wonderful in helping us. We are hoping that you can do it again. We would also love it if you can find it in your heart to adopt one of our babies and give them a forever home. They are all wonderful dogs

With the holidays approaching and holiday parties starting, please keep this info in mind. Many travel and board their pups, but this year it's best to find a pet sitter. Especially if you have a senior dog, puppy or one that is medically frail.
There is no cure or treatment for whatever this is, and many dogs are developing secondary lung infections, so be please be extra cautious.
Losing our babies is already hard enough, it's even worse when you know they've suffered while you've tried to heal them. Never mind losing them at the holidays.
