Just some safety tips to keep your furbabes safe while having fun in the sun * if the temp is over 80 then the concrete and tar are over 90 try to walk in the shade to protect dogs paw pads * while cooling off your dog be sure to wet their bellies chest and legs not the head or back this will attract more heat and make them even hotter * DO NOT LET YOUR DOGS DRINK WATER THAT HAD BEEN OUT OVER 1HR IN THE SUN ESPECIALLY IN A METAL BOWL* this is very important Not only can your dog get Gerardia if the water is public but warm water sitting in metal grows bacteria fastest the germs on the saliva stick to the metal and sitting in the water while bacteria starts grow anywhere above 44 degrees so to prevent an unnecessary trip to your vet always bring your own water for your furbabes .
