My sweet terrier mix, Todd was full of energy and brought so much joy to our home.

​WHAT'S WITH THE NAME? The word HAOL·E /ˈHOULĒ/ is term used in Hawaii for a peson who is not a native Hawiian, especially a white person. Todd was all white so my sister decided to make a play on words with haole and came up with haole hound (a white dog). Plus, we are white (haole) sisters living on Maui!

re I lost Todd I made his treats and treats for my sister's dogs. Todd and Willow (my sister's rescue) were picky snackers while Zeb (an Australian Shepard) would eat anything! So, I knew if the two picky snackers liked the treats, they were a keeper! My heart was so broken when I lost Todd but it to help me through the loss process I decided to make his favorite treats and sell them so other dogs can enjoy fun, yummy treats! My sister and brother-in-law were just as heartbroken because they were Todd’s dog sitter so they saw him everyday! My sister is an artist so she drew pictures of him to keep his memory alive. She created the Haole Hound Kitchen’s web page picture and labels! You will find a variety of Todd's and his furry friend's favorite treats.
