Well my sweet Bella Rose had her second echo today and while her heart mumur hasn’t changed, her left side of her heart has gotten bigger. More meds now, and increased her diuretics. Hopefully they help her be more comfortable. She is a happy 12 year old and every day I have with her I am thankful.

This little guy, Charly has stolen my heart. Since the day he came into my life about 3 months ago, he has forever changed my world.I had no idea the amount of joy he’d bring. Being an empty nester is hard but now that I have my Charly, I feel like I have purpose again. He loves unconditionally and is so loving, cuddly and loyal. 🐶❤️

Looking for advice!! My 1 year old cavie has recently taken up to barking excessively. We have been warned by our apartment building that we have to remedy this problem or there will be a true problem. The issue is she only barks when we are gone. She willingly and happily runs to her crate when it’s time to leave and is quiet when we leave and quiet when we arrive home apparently while we are away she is constantly barking/howling. Before we leave we take her outside for a walk, she gets interactive toys and lick mats and has a very cozy crate (again she loves her crate). We can’t hire a dog walker or send to day care because I already don’t work and am home all day and only leave to go to the gym, grocery, dinners etc. Any and all suggestions welcome. Picture of my little Angel/demon so it doesn’t get lost!

Hey our little guy is a 7 months old ball of chaos! So I try to tire him out with walks, play and the dog park! But for some reason he gets home all tired has a half hour nap and than wakes up in turbo mode with twice as much engery as he had that morning! Nothing tires him he's always has more energy, we know he's still a baby but he has to get tired eventually 😅 we wouldn't mind if it was just zoomies but it's the puppy bites, we've been training him and he's not biting hard anymore like light nips but it's not ideal

I am new to the group and wanted to share our beautiful new addition to the family, Miss Jingles. She will be 8 years old in December. We adopted her from an Amish farm in April where she spent her first 7 years as a barn dog and breeder. She had 10 litter of puppies!!! I’ve been begging to buy her but because she was a money maker they wouldn’t sell her. She is now past breeding age so they said I could have her!!! This beautiful girl came right into our home and from day one has been the perfect Angel! It’s as if she has been with us her entire life. She will NEVER have to earn her keep again. She is a spoiled princess and we couldn’t love her more!!

Anyway. It’s our first Christmas with him. He will turn 1 just before Christmas. How do people go about having a Christmas tree for their kids with a cavvie who chews everything!?

Happiest 1st birthday to Princess Lillian Buttercup! She was too excited to sit for her picture when presented with her cake and presents, but she celebrated none the less! Life is so much better with a cavalier!!

Hi! I just rescued a Cavalier puppy; he is 11 weeks today. His name is Arlo 😊

Trying to get him used to being alone for short intervals. Any tips and tricks much appreciated! I am trying to resist giving TOO much attention when i want him to get used to being alone. Its so hard because that face 🥹🥹He is such a little love. I never had a Cav before; my last 2 were a Maltese and a Toy Poodle. We have a 6 month old kitten and so far no fighting, just staring each other down lol
