Esme is a fine stamp of a native, bred by the Dartmoor pony society.
Would make a great mother daughter share! She is measuring a full up 14’3 and I expect she’ll make 15hh as she’s only just turned 5.
Very sweet natured, She’s good to be caught, loves a good groom and stands for the farrier.
Barefoot with great feet! A really good doer! Recently had her back checked.
Has just been backed and started her ridden work over the last 8 weeks.
She’s showing amazing brave potential for a future all rounder. Has never thrown a buck or a rear and is hacking out alone or in a group. She needs someone experienced to now continue her education further as she is still green, but confident.
She’s fab in traffic, seen tractors, motorcycles and cars and hasn’t battered an eyelid! Also been lightly ridden in my sand school.

Comparing these pictures of Stan has actually made me genuinely feel so so sorry for the little man and made me quite emotional ♥️
His behaviour was all down to pain.. with a bit of cheeky cob thrown in!! Lol…
His posture was horrendous causing a sunken sacrum, and secondary kissing spine. Which now I can clearly see!
Just 6 months apart… after a trip to see The Osteopathic Vet and consistent rehab, his posture is now all self carriage… and has not been forced with tack! What a difference!

Liberty session with Es today!
Keeping it short and sweet… Es can only tolerate 20 mins atm, before concentration goes.. but not bad for her first liberty session.

In todays 20 minute session, we got from complete avoidance of the halter to this..
it would of been so easy to ask for more, but tension signs were enough for me to realise how hard she was trying, so we called it a day.
I wonder how far we’ll get tomorrow?… 💗🌼✨

Day 1.
Flora has never had her hooves trimmed. I wouldn’t normally start any training straight away, but we must get these feet sorted asap ♥️
Just 10 minutes a day is enough… and hopefully the farrier can come work his magic ✨🌼

Stan, you make us so proud ♥️
Sometimes as a behaviour consultant, I see things that even the vet doesn’t.
He was in pain. I knew it and there’s no way he needed to be PTS.
Don’t get me wrong, he absolutely has cob attitude sometimes!
But that’s part of who he is, and actually we adore him for it.
For now Stan will stay on my yard so I can continue to do the ground work sessions in between his ridden work with Willow ✨ look at them go!! ✨♥️ My little dream team x

So after doing 3 months of daily exercises we have a rideable Stan!!! We have another check up with the osteopathic vet, up in Devon on Monday and then we are good to go back in to work!!! 🙌🏼
