We rescued Murphy from a nice college couple who lived in an apartment in downtown Columbia, SC and they knew he needed land to run. We drove from Summerville, SC on October 3rd (on our anniversary) as a present to both of us. Murphy already came with his name and we never changed it. Murphy is a pure bread English Shepherd and was born on May 10, 2018, so he was 5 months old when we got him. We immediately fell in love, THE BEST dog I ever had. In fact, everyone who meets him, falls in love also! We are still in touch with his original parents just so they can see how happy he is!! A lot of our friends have expressed how much they would love to have a "Murphy Dog" too. Well we started shopping for a girlfriend for Murphy about a year later. We found Mazie Mae on Facebook (English Shepherd-Klein's puppies) and had her shipped to Summerville, SC all the way from Sparta, MI on September 2, 2019. She is also a pure bread English Shepherd born May 15, 2019, so we got her when she was 4 months old. We have had a lot more trouble (very curious)with her, but as she has learned from Murphy, she is turning out to be the sweetest girl ever!! They both have proof of lineage but since I'm not a "breeder" any pups produced should be absolutely perfect but will not come with any "official" papers but I can provide each new owner of our future pup's papers from their parents' lineage. Our closest friends will get first choice of our litters as they are the one's who asked us to breed them...then first come, first serve. Mazie Mae had her first heat on July 9, 2020. We will wait for her second heat to breed her and Murphy. I will keep y'all posted!! Love these dogs soooooo much!!!
