Good Boy K9s is a mobile training service that caters to all your dog’s needs. We serve the whole of the Southern Peninsula, Cape Town.

Services:

Dog Walking - 45min walks that focus on keeping your dog stimulated whilst allowing the freedom to exercise the mind and body. We cater to both social and non-social dogs, helping to create a safe environment for all dogs to be able to get their much-needed exercise.

Pricing per 45min walk:
1 dog - R140.00 - R200.00 (Behaviour pending/ training needed)
2 dogs – R240.00
3 dogs – R300.00

Basic Grooming – We offer a mobile Wash & Dry service to all dogs.
They will receive a lukewarm bath and shampoo along with a nail trimming. We also offer an anti-tic & flee service.

Please message for pricing, basic groom starts at R220.00.

Obedience training - These sessions are one on one training session with the client and dog.

In these sessions we focus on loose leash walking, recall and other basic cues needed to help have a more manageable dog.

R250.00 per 45min session.

Behavioural issues - These sessions are one on one training session with the client and dog.

This service is for those clients who have niche behavioural problems regarding their dog. Leash reactive dogs, house training, socialization, desensitisation and many more all can be helped managed.

Dillan Kiebler is a C.O.A.P.E certified Dog Handler who qualified in Companion Animal Behaviourist. Positive training techniques are used.

Redirection is the name of the game with Archie the purebred

Archie was unable to be put on lead before working with us, attempting to nip at any handler and at the lead. This was a learnt behavior as a puppy that carried through into adulthood.

Being a Labrador this was counted with a game of tug of war. This way Archie is not able to nip at the handler due to having a toy in his mouth and being stimulated by having the toy in his mouth (retriever trait).

This is used to burn off some energy along side with a few trials of fetch to calm the boy down. At this point he is ready for his walk and no longer reverts back to the unwanted learnt behavior.
