Animal Rescue of the Rockies is a 501(c)3 non profit Colorado corporation. Organized in 2003 by a group of friends who wanted to provide an alternative to the county shelter, A.R.R. has successfully provided foster homes and subsequent permanent homes to hundreds of dogs and cats to date. Because we don't have a shelter facility, we work exclusively with foster homes to give homeless pets the chan

ce to socialize in a home environment. This gives them the advantage of transitioning to their new forever homes much more easily and quickly. We help with transport, fostering, and adoptions whenever we can. Foster homes are always needed, and there never seem to be enough! He blossomed from a timid, shy pup into a confident, gentle boy, all thanks to the love and care of his amazing foster dad, Victor. Ferret’s journey to trust and joy is nothing short of inspiring, and now he’s starting a new chapter with his loving family and his new canine brother, Doobie!

At just 1 ½ years old, Reddy is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and an absolute sweetheart. Once separated from his previous family, this resilient boy was lovingly cared for by a kind person who helped him regain his shine. Now, he’s ready for a fresh start!

Reddy is a pro with his litterbox, enjoys lounging on his scratch tower, and has a knack for hanging out on your feet while you’re taking his picture. He’s also discovering how much fun toys can be!

Trina and Amanda connected instantly, and now Trina spends her days at Amanda’s hair salon and cocktail bar, @theolivetiger in Downtown Denver, greeting new people. Trina's transformation is truly remarkable. Once extremely fearful of people and reactive toward other dogs, she has overcome her challenges thanks to the dedicated work of Sarah Bellora.
