Remember the little kitten who survived the Cache Fire that engulfed him? Little Crispin is not so little now and is thriving in his furever home with his siblings and under the watchful eye of his momma. Crispin is enjoying one of several cat-visions his momma has set up for them. Cynthia Biringer says he loves to snuggle under the covers and often steals her neck warmer bean bag thing. He is quick to hide if he hears an unusual sound or if someone stops by. He has come a long ways from that little Fire kitten.
Thank you Cynthia for giving our little Crispin the perfect home.
Meet CPR 2nd 2nd Chance Cat Sanctuary’s Nala Lower Lake. She’s approximately a year old.
Nala is full of love she’d like to share with a human if her own. She loves to play and sweet Nala is so laid back that the vacuum does not even phase her.
Nala is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. There is an adoption fee and we will work with you on it.
If you’d like to give this sweetie a furever home, please contact Rachel Freeman or Brenda Boone
Nala is at our Santa Rosa location but we will travel some.
CPR 2nd Chance Cat Sanctuary’s Camper is a very sweet girl and would love a furever home.
Camper is 14 yrs old and she was surrendered to the animal shelter. She uses her litter box faithfully. Loves to receive love and would make a wonderful companion for any human.
What we do see in her, she doesn’t seem to like other cats. It could be because she isn’t in her own turf anymore or she never liked another cat. We do not know how she is around dogs.
If you would like to adopt Camper or even foster her, please reach out to Rachel Freeman or Brenda Boone.
Camper is at our Santa Rosa, CA location.
♥️CPR 2nd Chance Cat Sanctuary’s loving blind senior cat is looking for her forever home.♥️
While Kitty Cat is blind and she is also 15-16 yrs old, she still has many years left to live. Blind cats are not difficult to have. She’s so full of love and thrives on attention.
What she requires:
First, someone who will love her.
Second, a room to call hers. Being blind means she needs an area where her bed, potty and food occur in the same area each time.
Third, someone who will willingly help her learn the layout of her area.
Kitty Cat is very smart and would learn the placement of her things quickly. This doesn’t mean she has to stay only in the room. You can bring her out to sit with family and be loved on. You could also harness her to go outdoors with you after she learns her new home. She loves the outdoors but being blind means she can no longer live outside.
If you would like to give this sweet senior a new forever home, please contact Brenda Boone or Rachel Freeman
Rachel introducing sweet Al Fairfield
♥️♥️♥️Adopted
My name is Al Fairfield. I’m 19 years old and looking for a home to live out my golden years. Check out my story.
I spent my 19 years with my human dad and it was a wonderful life. Sadly my human dad has dementia and it progressed until he had to go to a special home that does not allow me.
My human dads family is allergic to me and they surrendered me to the shelter where a wonderful lady known as Rachel of CPR 2nd Chance Cat Sanctuary chose me to be her rescue.
Rachel treats me like a king and I love to give her kisses. I really need a home where I can live out my golden years. I’m a senior so very young kids probably wouldn’t be good for me. I would give you kisses and keep your lap warm. I also would follow you around and assist in your daily chores.
If you would like to give me a forever home to live out my golden years, please contact Brenda and she will help you adopt me. Thank you for hearing my story.

Rachel talking to Lt. Dan and showing him love.
♥️Lt. Dan came through surgery and is in recovery.
Lt. Dan is checked in and waiting for his surgery to remove his right front leg. He’s losing his leg because someone shot him and this makes us sad for him because he will now have to learn to walk again and makes us angry that someone thinks it’s ok to shoot cats.
♥️♥️♥️Adopted!
🆘Cat in urgent need
This little girl needs a home ASAP. A kind couple took her in when she showed up as a Feral/Stray. She’s approximately a year old now. Sadly she did not adjust to being an inside girl.
She would be a wonderful garden cat or barn cat…whichever you want to call her. She accepts humans but does not like for them to pet her right now. She understands and uses a litter box, never attempted to scratch any furniture or to escape the house or yard. She just doesn’t like being an indoor girl.
Please help us spring this little girl and get her into the purrfect home. She’s spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
We rescued a little tripod after the Dixie Fire devastated Greenville. He was a beloved semi feral who hung out at Riley’s Jerky and pleas to find him poured in. Rachel found and trapped him and he had made it through the fire unscathed.
Roxane Arave and her husband Bill Arave adopted the little tripod fittingly named Riley. He has made leaps and bounds learning to be an inside cat and to accept love. He’s definitely chosen Bill as his human. We love how well he is doing. ♥️
Myra Lower Lake is a beautiful Tortie who was a small kitten when the Cache Fire happened. CPR 2nd Chance Cat Sanctuary brought her in.
Myra is ready for her forever home now. She is a very sweet and loving little girl and will be a bonus to any home. She is approximately 5 months old. Myra is wormed, spayed, vaccinated and Microchipped.
There is an adoption application and fee.
