Please help us save our horse boarding facilities in Contra Costa County. The county now requires land use permits, for all boarding, no matter how long they have been in place. They have ridiculously asked for plug in chargers and paved parking lots because they don't understand the equine world. Unfortunately we have a few local people, who don't own horses, know nothing about horses who are trying to shut down these 1 by 1. I loved the Northern California Horse page as an amazing resource but it was archived about a week ago. I reached out to an admin to see if they needed assistance but I haven't heard back. I am starting this page for members of Northern California who love horses and have services to offer, and has a place to showcase those items. Animal Rescue is important to me as I am a proud member of Hold Your Horses Livestock Evacuation Rescue Team, live on an 11 acre ranch with my horses and I work selling ranches for in Contra Costa County.
