Poecilotheria rufilata. Also known commonly as the "Red Slate Ornamental". These spiders are known to the South Western Ghats of India. They are also an endangered species in the wild. The green and yellow hues, the red hairs and the size really make this species stand out. Some specimens grow to about 9" in legspan. Fun Fact: These were one of my least favorite species until I owned a pair of them. Pictured is my female.
