Derbee is doing great with her surgery recovery. She takes her med, is eating and drinking well, she bears only to potty, then sits down. The incision is beautiful, swelling has gone down, almost the same size of the other ankle. Long road ahead, but we got.this. Hot and cold therapy, bike kicks, massages, and extra heavy on the love.
is amazing and I feel like they are there with me everyday. Highly recommend!!
I am behind getting to vet appointments has been crazy. I'm coming to see you. All orders are out, and I'm ready for the weekend events it's gonna be cold!!

Football squares, win money and help an amazing dog rescue!

Hey everyone, please share our SuperBowl squares fundraiser!!! Paw prints hearts is selling Super Bowl squares for $20 each. We are starting early and hopes that we can sell out two full boards. The matching square for each quarter will win $200 and the remaining money goes to the rescue. Derbee is home and her surgery went very well. She did her TPLO surgery. Her CCL was completely torn and her meniscus crushed (i may have the terminologymessed up). They repaired it and cleaned up the meniscus. She does have some arthritis in her left hip which is the same side as her surgery but they feel optimistic about her recovering. The next 8 weeks will be a lot of doing nothing. Leashed when going potty, no running, playing, jumping, or anything basically. I will sleep with her in the living room for at least the next week, maybe 2. Feel better momma girl my sweet brown potato.
Thank you for taking care of my baby. Dr. Mayne is amazing. Thank you the staff at Baycrest Veterinary Hospital for taking care of my baby after the surgery.

Derbee is checking out the new contraption in the living room...little does she know, that it is for her after her surgery on her CCL this Friday. I normally donate 10% monthly to a rescue or community project, this month and maybe next, I will be the community project. Derbee has CCL surgery Friday and on the 23rd my daughter's cat has bladder stone surgery.

Happy ! Today we’re featuring Carly! 🐶

Carly is a 9 years young Hound mix girl on the hunt for her forever home. She is a 52 lbs. of love that enjoys chasing lizards and cuddles on the couch. Carly isn't a "cat lady" but does like the company of other dogs (with proper introduction). Carly also does well with older kids.
