Next market is this Saturday, March 19th, 12-3pm at the Faribo West Mall. Bring a food donation or two for the Community Action Center food drive.

Allison's Wonderland Acres - Serrano chili hot sauce, tomatillo salsa, pickled veggies, horseradish sauce, lemon preserves, marinated mushrooms, and more.
Aunt Kathy’s Kitchen - Jams, jellies, relishes, pickles, homemade crackers (everything bagel, caraway rye, and gluten-free), candies.

Due to unforeseen circumstances Lova Doras will not be attending the Cannon Valley Farmers Market Saturday Feb 19th. We will miss you all but look forward to being back at the market in March. We are still taking special orders on a limited basis-message us here!

Last Day of Santa’s Shed until next year! I dropped off a fresh batch of Freeze dried skittles last night. If you’re looking for some last minute host gifts or stocking stuffers (or a something special for yourself, cause Treat yo self! It’s been a crazy year) we’ve got you covered!

We are planning to be at every market this year! Check us out and all the other incredibly talented vendors!

Opening Day is 2 weeks and 1 hour earlier this year. Come shop the Cannon Valley Farmers’ Market starting THIS Saturday, November 6th at the Faribo West Mall. The new market time is 12:00pm -3:00pm.

You’ll find both new and returning vendors at every market offering honey, apples, vegetables, bread, baked goods, homemade soaps and wool yarn, maple syrup and local meat, coffee and cookies, eggs and herbs, jams and jellies, and so much more.

The Cannon Valley Farmers’ will run every other Saturday from November 6th to December 18th. January through May the market will be held the third Saturday of each month. This is officially a fall, winter, and spring market.

We are so excited to partner with The Greensted Farm Store! They had their Grand Opening this week where you can find all sorts of amazing local goodies: salad, salad dressing, honey, syrup, beef, pork, eggs coffee, lotions, soaps AND of course Lova Doras Fruit! They are open Tuesday through Saturday every week.

Stay tuned to find out more about the upcoming Reko Market also at The Greensted. This is a pre-order, drive through Farmers Market starting in August.

One of the benefits of growing species that are native or more natural to your region is how well they are able to weather things like late frosts, and an unnaturally hot, dry month-especially during peak fruiting. Due to this, my cherries have had almost no intervention from me. This means I’ve not added to the drought by draining our already low aquifers of untold gallons of water in the name of bringing fresh fruit and local products to you.

I’ve been blessed to spend the last week harvesting these gorgeous little gems. I’ll be getting around 20 gallons of cherries from one plant, waiting to be turned into jams, pies, muffins and more!

GRILLING SEASON IS HERE!
Easy Recipe: One of my absolute favorite multi-purpose finishing glazes is a 1:1 ratio of Peach Jalapeño jam and your favorite bbq sauce. Add just enough water to thin it out and brush it on during the last 5-10 minutes and bask in the compliments of your gorgeous, tasty and masterful creation.

Featured here are baby back pork ribs and bacon wrapped shrimp.

Recipe!
Our Rhubarb Ginger jam in this Asian inspired glaze serves as the base that highlights this beautiful pork rib roast from Cannon Valley Butcher's Block.

To make the glaze:

2 parts Lova Dora’s Rhubarb Ginger jam
1 part orange juice
1 part gluten free soy sauce or low sodium soy sauce
Lova Dora’s salted chives to taste or minced green onion
Lova Dora’s smoked hatch chili peppers or crushed red peppers to taste

Baste the roast during the last 15 minutes of cooking and again during the last 5 minutes of cooking. Any leftover glaze can be reduced to drizzle when plating.
