Let's be real, your dog is probably the number one companion you want around on your big day 🩷 My favorite part of my business is escorting dogs to events. What services do I offer? Transporting your dog to and from your wedding and staying overnight if necessary, keeping them entertained, coordinating with vendors, potty breaks and feeding, walking them down the aisle, working with your wedding party to arrange handoffs if necessary, posing them for photos (MY FAVORITE, I HAVE SO MANY TECHNIQUES FOR THIS ONE) and accommodating you in any way possible so that your baby can be a part of your big day!! Hi everyone!! I'm very excited to announce that I'm currently accepting new pack members!! I'm available to walk Tuesday through Friday and occasional Saturdays from 11am to 6pm! Big or small, I've walked 'em all! I also have availability for house sitting for your winter vacations as well as handling your dogs at special events such as weddings or winter holiday parties. Hello dog parents! Here's my annual reminder that Haunt season is in full swing in about two weeks and my availability will steadily decrease until about halfway through November (keep reading for schedule) and I'm begging for your patience! Dog care is my absolute passion and I take so much pride in what I do. My business is the most important aspect of my life and I've worked so hard for almost six years to steadily grow my outreach to get where I am today! However, for a month and a half of the year, my business takes a bit of a back seat to my other greatest passions: CHARITY, Halloween and Haunted Overload! As some of you know, Haunted Overload donates a MASSIVE amount of proceeds to Pope Memorial Humane society, which is why haunting has become so unbelievably important to me. This year especially, I have devoted a HUGE amount of time to the Haunt and we still have so much to do. We're on the Legendary Haunt Tour this year! We will raise so much awareness for the shelter! Next month my schedule shouldn't change much until the last week of September, during which I will not have any late afternoon hours available. Throughout the month of October I will only be available Tuesday through Thursday from 11am until 3pm. As of now I'm not certain about my availability from the end of October until the Haunt Tour, mid November, so bear with me! I do have a backup care provider that can help out when necessary. I'm so grateful for my dog moms/dads supporting me and gracing me with all of my pack members! Thank you so much, for everything. Give all of my babies kisses from me!!!! THIS IS SO IMPORTANT! I'M ONLY WALKING DOGS WHO HAVE SHADED AREAS AND GRASS ON OUR ROUTE THIS WEEK! Please please please keep your babies inside in a cool place and make sure they stay hydrated!!

A heat emergency has been declared in the City of Boston from today, July 19th, through Thursday, July 21st. Nothing kills pets more during the summer months than heat stroke, so heat safety is extremely important for all of us! Here are some tips from Angell veterinarians to help keep your pets safe.

Above all else, PLEASE do not leave your pet in the car, even for just a few minutes with the windows cracked. It is dangerous for them and against the law.

If your pet exhibits the following signs. please contact your veterinarian and animal emergency service as these are signs of heat stroke and can prove fatal:

• excessive panting
• vomiting
• tiring easily
• diminished appetite
• lethargy

Stay safe out there, and hydrated!

Everyone knows weddings are both incredibly exciting and unbelievably stressful! You know what makes weddings less stressful? HAVING YOUR DOG THERE TO KEEP YOU CALM! Unfortunately, a majority of wedding venues don't allow dogs inside. THAT'S WHERE YA GIRL COMES IN. I offer wedding services for pups and it is hands down my favorite! Friday I spent the day escorting this gorgeous angel Willow around her Mom and Dad's wedding and eventually walking her down the aisle! Then she sat on my lap on the ground to watch her parents tie the knot before I brought her back to a relative's house! (CONGRATULATIONS BETH AND KURT!) Want your pooch around on your big day!? So this is a really huge deal. I've been following my dreams of working with dogs AND being self employed for THREE YEARS as of today. I've met so many great pups, I've walked through blizzards and thunderstorms and heatwaves, I've trained crazy puppies, had sleepovers with multiple dogs, talked with other people about dog p**p more than I ever though I would in my whole life, but most importantly I have followed my dream and my job makes me truly happy. I never in a million centuries thought that my career could include dogs without spending years in school. Thank you to all of my dog Moms and Dads who made it possible, thank you to every single person who goes out of their way to refer me or to tag me when someone is looking for a dog walker/sitter and a special thank you to my hubby for all the love, encouragement and support he's given me the last two years! You all have given me the chance to have the career of my dreams!!! And MOST IMPORTANTLY HUGE SHOUT OUT TO MY PACK! I LOVE ALL OF MY DOGGIES SO SO MUCH! Kiss those sniffers for me Moms and Dads!

NEW PACK MEMBERS ALERT!!! I added TWO new members to the pack this week!! Introducing HANK (German Shepherd) and PIPOCA (Poodle mix)!!! Hank is a big big boy who works at a storage facility and is known very well by the folks in the area because, DUH, he's majestic! And Pipoca is a wee little babe who just moved to the area with her parents, she is their first furbaby! Her dad is from Brazil and, since I know you're wondering, Pipoca means POPCORN IN BRAZILIAN HOW PRECIOUS IS THAT!? Welcome to the pack my sweet darlings! Need a dog walker/sitter?! I will soon have to start limiting new walks unless you are incredibly flexible with timing, but am always open for sitting!

My little (adorably bundled up) trouble maker turning around to see if I'm still disappointed in her for digging up pizza crust out of a snow bank and trying to eat it. She made the mistake of slowly turning her head to see if I was watching with said pizza crust very visibly hanging from her mouth. I guess I don't blame her, pizza is my favorite food too!

Snow angels in their winter gear from today!! Because who doesn't love dogs in jackets!? Sammy was much more relaxed on our walk today to the point where Bea got jealous of how many times I said "GOOD GIRL SAMMY!" She even tugged on her leash after she started to relax and feel safe! And Isabelle miraculously dug up one lowly pringle that was buried three inches deep in snow and started eating it. I always forget dachshunds are hound dogs until Tiny Dog picks up a scent trail from five yards away! Happy snow day!

Today was the big day!! Sammy officially went on her first full walk with her big sister Bea! Usually I can't get Sammy to come within a few feet of me (unless I have treats, of course) but when she saw me pull out her harness she came right over and didn't freak out when I was pulling her in and clipping her up! She started the walk with her tail between her legs, ears straight back, peering over her shoulder every few seconds but as you can see from the picture, by the end she had a wagging tail and alert, happy ears!! I am feeling very confident in the growth of our relationship and I think soon enough I will earn this pretty girl's trust completely. Round two with the girls on Thursday so stay tuned!
