Beau did a great job with recall last night. He wanted to jump up at the end but corrected himself and sat down. He's still learning but well on his way to being an obedient dog!
Dallas demonstrated significant improvement last night. Just last week, she didn't want to walk without jumping up and hooking her paws on the leash. However, after a week of dedicated training with her parents, Dallas is now walking remarkably well. Although she occasionally jumps, we are able to refocus her. I'm proud by the progress they have made.

Steps:
Put dog in stay
After a couple of seconds call them to you while backing up, increasing the distance they have to get to you
Put them in a sit once they get to you. This gives them a place to go and makes it easy for you to grab them.
Reward for a good job
Winston did a good job with recall today! He's a slow, easy going dog but he'll do anything for a treat.
