Our team has come such a long way, and we’re still growing! From the very beginning, we’ve always been about more than just caring for dogs — we’re a passionate, energetic group dedicated to making a positive impact in every pup’s life.

Every single person here brings something special to the table, and we couldn’t be prouder of the incredible people who make up this team.
Their love for what they do shines through in everything they do, and we’re beyond grateful for each of them.

Meet Mikey, a sweet and affectionate dog who’s looking for a new home! 🐾🐕

He is 3-4 years old, neutered, and has all his shots up to date. He’s observant, has an excellent memory, and learns quickly. He is a great playmate who loves playing ball 🎾 all day and is an excellent exercise companion. Mikey walks well on a leash and is potty trained.

However, he needs some polishing on house manners, kennel training, and socialization with other dogs. He also requires regular mental stimulation and isn’t fond of vacuums.

We are looking into hosting a Rattlesnake Aversion training this on Saturday, August 24th! 🐍 If you are interested in training your dog to keep themselves safe by avoiding rattlesnakes, this is for you! If your dog likes toys 🧸 or treats 🦴, and will do anything to get them, they are served by the Tangible function of behavior.

The Tangible function is the most easy and fun to work with.
Most working dogs, like police dogs or bomb dogs, are maintained with the Tangible function.

🎾 Trainers will use what is called ball drive, to motivate the dog to work hard. Once they have completed the task, they are rewarded with their ball. Their ball drive is incredibly high! These are the dogs that will bite your hand off in order to get their ball. And they don’t give up that ball easily.

If your dog loves their toy or treat, this can easily be used as a form of reinforcement to change their behavior.

Side note: 😡 Food aggression serves the Tangible function. If your dog is possessive of their food and gets aggressive or reactive towards people or dogs that approach them while they are eating, their function is Tangible.

Scout is a black and white male. He is going to be 6 at the beginning of October.

Scout has been neutered. He is a calm dog that loves to be around his people. He will chase after a ball, but has not mastered bringing it back to you. He loves going on walks 🦮, hikes 🥾, and swimming 🌊. He loves the water, and will often splash in his water bowl.

Scout does not like people taking his food from him. He loves Nika, but is not a fan of other dogs. Scout is the most loving dog you will ever meet. 🥰 He will give kisses and will let you lay your head on him for hours. He is sweet and silly. He is a very quiet husky, but will “talk” to you occasionally! 🗣️

Nika is pure white, with beautiful blue eyes. 🩵 She is not spayed. Nika has a wonderful sense of emotions and will sit quietly with you for as long as you need her to. She loves to go on walks and hikes.

She does not like water and will try to avoid it as much as she can. She loves Scout and has not had any issues with other dogs, but has not been around them much. Nika is also turning 6, but at the very end of September. She is small and quiet. 🤫

Teaching hunting dogs their craft! 🦆 At our facility, we train dogs bred for hunting to locate and retrieve birds with precision. The process involves teaching the dog to use their natural instincts while responding to commands. We start by building foundational obedience, then introduce scent work and retrieving skills. Using commands like ‘woah,’ we teach the dog patience, ensuring they wait for permission before picking up the bird.Recently, we used a duck found already deceased on the property for training.
