BUYER BEWARE! Comfort Inn "hotel" in East Wichita at 9525 E Corporate Hills, will not honor a cancelation of our reservation when I canceled it less than 30 minutes after I made it!! The Gen. Mgr. John Meice refused to honor ANY cancelation when the reservation wasn't made with his front desk! Really?! I spoke with the company I made the reservation with and they even tried to speak with this guy John Meice, about canceling it, and the Scrooge wouldn't budge! I finally called him this morning to discuss the situation, that we had no electricity since 3 am, and by 4:30, the sun was going down, the temp in our house was 53 degrees and I knew we needed a place to stay. He then brought out his Big Boy attitude and said that wasn't his problem, that I made the reservation through a "3rd party" and he didn't have to approve a cancelation of any reservation! The customer service, the obnoxious attitude, and disrespectfulness of this man was beyond anything I've EVER come across in all the years I've traveled for business and beyond! SO... DON'T STAY AT THE COMFORT INN IN WICHITA, KANSAS at 9525 E. Corporate Hills! If the Gen. Mgr. doesn't have the decency to consider what others are going through and help another human being, then he's got the wrong job! BUYER BEWARE! And one more note... Yes, I'm contacting Choice Hotels, who happens to own Comfort Inn hotels.

These two "brothers" were quite the pair to groom! I was laughing during almost every minute with them! You can sure tell who the big brother is in this picture... he's really watching over the baby! Such a fun pair!

I thoroughly enjoyed a new kitty cat to my repertoire today! Kiki is new to the grooming world, but I wouldn't have known it unless her pet parent shared that with me. She had some pretty bad mats that appeared almost overnight but I was able to get those out, and then carried on with the clipper groom as if she had been coming to me for years! She told me she felt so much better by getting her nails trimmed, those mats out, the oiliness gone and the bath made her feel like a Smooth Queen! She was a dream to have on the table during her clipper groom and even during her bath! I loved having the opportunity to have her in my salon today!

Just wanting to tell everyone how much I appreciate you, all your kindness and support! I wish I would've become a groomer 25 years ago! Okay, before anyone gets judgemental, the dye I used on this Sweet Tiny Girl is animal friendly, no paraffin, or burning agents in it. I did as much research as I could find before I began this process and knew I didn't want to use chalk because chalk will come off on everything it touches! Couches, car seats, your hands, the dog's bed, etc. This Tiny thing was the most patient little girl and was enjoying herself so much, that she fell asleep standing up! Thank you to her Mama Pet Parent for allowing me to have all the fun today!

My hubby and I left town for several days recently and we had to leave our fat little black pug, Milo, behind. I just want to give a public shout-out to a wonderful animal loving friend of our's, Susan Shain, who only heard in a small conversation that we were leaving Milo. She immediately, without hesitation, wanted to take care of him! There wasn't any question as to what her 3 little girl pups would have to say about this, she just knew they would love having him there! I can only tell you that we could not have left if our friend, Susan Shain, hadn't volunteered her love, her hubby Burke's love and those 3 little girl pups' love in taking such great care of our fat little black jellybean of a pug for us. All our fears and worries were lifted! We even got daily pictures and notes like a diary of what his life consisted of everyday! We can tell he misses his tiny little family because he snores less and I even think he may have lost a pound or 2. But Susan, we want you to know WE ALL APPRECIATE AND WILL NEVER FORGET YOUR LOVE AND KINDNESS! YOU ROCK!
