This online course is ideal for anyone, from beginners to advanced. Anyone looking to educate their dog on various techniques required to jump efficiently and clean, keeping those bars up!
This 4-week online Jump Technique Course will be based on the methods of Linda Mecklenburg, methods that I use with my agility dogs. I start to teach this method from puppy up, so dogs over 6 months old are welcome to join*
Requirements:
- You have access to one winged jump at home
- Your dog is over 6 months old
- You are prepared to work on your homework daily
- You know how to upload to YouTube
How it works:
Once enrolled you will be added to a private facebook group. Exercises will be posted to this group 2-3 times per week, yes there will be A LOT of content. You will be required to upload your homework videos for me to give you feedback on.
Feedback will be given every 24-48 hours.
The facebook group will be open for 6 months, though you will only get my feedback for the duration of the course.
The course is 4 weeks, there will be an extra week of feedback so you get ample time to finish the exercises.
*Dogs under 12 months old will not be told to 'jump' in this course, though all the flat work is covered.
Cost is $200
Payment is required prior to access to the private group.
Course starts Wednesday 14th August and runs for 5 weeks.

Thanks to Perth Training and Obedience Dog Club for the judging appointment, lovely well-run trial and loved the 2 ring format.
I added layering into my ADM today, I liked how it ran. Add it to your training homework people, you will be seeing more of it :p

Classes are now $164 for the 4 lessons

Weeks 1 and 3 will be two sequences, weeks 2 and 4 will be a full course

Would people be keen if I ran a 4 week online One jump Technique Course ? The course would be based on Linda Mecklenburg’s Mastering Jumping Skills .
The course would be ideal for anyone , beginners to advanced, anyone looking to educate their dog on various techniques required to jump efficiently and clean .
If your dog currently knocks bars then this course is ideal to educate your dog not too .

After a week being unwell , thanks COVID #2 , I lent Rev to Megan Saturday morning , a fabulous run in ADM but in true Rev style didn't stop on the seesaw … sorry Megan !
I managed to tell my lungs to toughen up ! Rev and I First place in both JDMs on Saturday 🥇🥇
BUT whilst Alex was out bush playing with guns and dogs I got an early morning drop off on Sunday I decided to give tangoing a go at States 😛😛 🎶🎵
I have never run this dude before and my gosh what fun we had , 1st in Sunday mornings AD and into the finals and then 🏆NOVICE AGILITY 300 STATE WINNER !🏆
Sorry Rev, I let you down in the final , but I did get to all the places I aimed too 😃

format will be 50/50 class , so one jumping and one agility course (at least one contact if not two and weaves, in a Sequence)
will be set at excellent level (novice competing people welcome ! )

I am unable to afford to absorb the costs of the increase in Dogs West Light fees and need to charge a little more to cover fuel costs (I live half an hour away from dogs West )
My last increase was March 2022

Last night between masters classes Tori and I got to have a go at my jdm from Geraldton … SO MUCH FUN ! We are still building confidence together so the missed jump we just ignored .

Inspired by “Rev”

My Agility school is inspired by my Working Cocker Spaniel “Rev” (Netherdee Revvin It Up).

I first trained and competed in agility 5 years ago with my labrador cross Axle. He was a great introductory dog who taught me so much about the sport. Axle was never a speedy dog BUT he always gave it his all. He taught me that consistency is the key and to adapt to the dog you have. He exposed me to the wonderful world of the agility community who have supported me endlessly and I wouldn't be were I am today without them! The agility community has inspired me to compete nationally and internationally. I competed at the World Agility Open championships in the UK in 2016.

After 3 years of competing with Axle and many other dogs of all breeds and sizes I decided to venture into a getting a working line dog.... along came REV! Axle and I were once settled, comfortable and lived in a quiet household... well that all changed very quickly when Rev walked in the door.

So our agility training adventure started, and this time I was keen to follow training methods shown to me by a few special people (you know who you are!). Rev soon exceeded all expectations and it all just seemed to fall into place.
