Megan we can't thank you enough ! How lucky we are here in WA !
Two seminars today , puppies and young dogs learning the vital flat work skills for foundation jumping and one jump skills .
Massive thanks to Jess and Pete for allowing us to use your property … more exciting news to come in the new year … eeep!
Trax came along to watch a little and hang out at grilled at lunch time , such a cool puppy!

FOUNDATION JUMPING , 12-15 months old , 3.30-6.30pm
$120 working spot (includes auditing in other session)
$20 Audit
Location is Jessica 's place , 2 minutes from Dogs West.

I have 2 SPOTS available in tonight's FOUNDATION CONTACTS AND WEAVES Class in Balcatta.
For dogs who are starting out with contacts, or currently teaching contacts. All contacts (including the seesaw) will be on low height. Weaves will be channel and broken up into 4s.

Hoping to get these classes back up and running … this will depend on what dogs West are doing about the coping, I have "heard" they are top dressing .

JDM Course - would you have layered jump number 19 when running 4-6? because if you didn't your dog probably took the off course jump at 15 :p Well done to those that had seen the challenge and gave it a go :)
JDO - I swapped jump number 3 to 2 as there was safety concerns, but I LOVED the open challenge with two lots of layering involved

Last night between masters classes Tori and I got to have a go at my jdm from Geraldton … SO MUCH FUN ! We are still building confidence together so the missed jump we just ignored .

This evening between my masters classes I got to run this AMAZING course designed by Karen! What a blast! Thank you for providing these courses for my masters classes Karen, SO MUCH FUN!

Inspired by “Rev”

My Agility school is inspired by my Working Cocker Spaniel “Rev” (Netherdee Revvin It Up).

I first trained and competed in agility 5 years ago with my labrador cross Axle. He was a great introductory dog who taught me so much about the sport. Axle was never a speedy dog BUT he always gave it his all. He taught me that consistency is the key and to adapt to the dog you have. He exposed me to the wonderful world of the agility community who have supported me endlessly and I wouldn't be were I am today without them! The agility community has inspired me to compete nationally and internationally. I competed at the World Agility Open championships in the UK in 2016.

After 3 years of competing with Axle and many other dogs of all breeds and sizes I decided to venture into a getting a working line dog.... along came REV! Axle and I were once settled, comfortable and lived in a quiet household... well that all changed very quickly when Rev walked in the door.

So our agility training adventure started, and this time I was keen to follow training methods shown to me by a few special people (you know who you are!). Rev soon exceeded all expectations and it all just seemed to fall into place.
