My name is Megan Price, I am a final year Veterinary Nursing student at University of Bristol. I am conducting research as a part of my dissertation requiring participation from UK-based Registered Veterinary Nurses. The research consists of mixed quantitative and qualitative questions which should take between 5-10 minutes to complete. The aim of the survey is to develop an understanding of the ways in which endotracheal tubes are being used in practice, including are they single-use vs disposable, how are they cleaned, and other endotracheal tube questions including are they being cuffed and measured to size per patient requirements prior to intubation. If you have any queries, I am contactable on [email protected]. Ethics application number: 22982.

The WSAVA Global Pain Council is conducting a survey on pain management in Africa. Please complete the survey if you live in or work anywhere in Africa.

Greetings from the Global Pain Council (GPC) of the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA). The Global Pain Council is launching a survey to veterinarians living and working in the African continent. The goal of the survey is to determine the perceptions and practices of pain management in dogs and cats, and identify the gaps and challenges hindering the optimal practice of pain management in small animals.

I am contacting you to solicit your support in publicizing this survey among veterinarians in your country. Participation is entirely voluntary and anonymous. The survey takes around 10-15 minutes to complete and is available in both English and French translation through the following link ( http://bit.ly/3NtplA2) or using the QR code available on the attached social media post.

Thank you in advance for your effort in publicizing this survey.
