A big thank you to the customers and staff Truro Pets at Home with The Groom Room we just collected our Animal Foodbank donation bin in collaboration with Blue Cross UK . We're blown away by some of these donations for the animal foodbank. Thank you so much.

We have had a massive amount of families in need contact us, we are already running low on dog food and bird, rabbit food.

If anyone is able to donate some of this food we would be very grateful, so we can continue helping all the families currently in desperate need currently

We have some exciting news, as of 2/5/23 Clay County Cat Care - UK, Cornwall, Cornwalls Animal Food Bank Appeal will be partnering with the Blue Cross and Pets at Home to ensure we have food to give to families in need to feed their pets to help with the cost of living crisis and to help keep pets with their families.

We will have a donation bin at Truro Pets at Home store if you would like to donate items to help families in need, this will hopefully allow families to hold on to their pets and reduce the amount of animals in rescue centres. 💗💗🥳🐈🐾

In the last few weeks we have been helping so many families through this tough time, or supplies are nearly out and we would love to be able to continue helping families through times that can only get worse due to all the price increases. Our food bank helps keep pets with their familes rather then in a rescue centre or sadly dumped on the streets.

Morning all, sorry it’s been a while since I last posted, we have been super busy at the rescue with new additions and our new rescue building.

We have some beautiful cats and kittens looking for their forever homes. Yesterday after the news of the recession I received a number of calls from worried owners, all concerned that they would not be able to keep their beloved cats. Please remember we have the Animal Food bank still available or everyone in Cornwall, we can offer a delivery service, collection from the rescue (with strict Covid guidelines on distancing). I would like to reassure people we are here to help and support in which ever way we can.

Our new rescue building is together and we will now be fundraising to pay for the work that needs to be carried out to make it possible for us to help more cats and kittens plus the local communities. We all understand that current times means it’s difficult to financially donate monetary donations, but if your able to spare some free time to help us with this new building please get in touch with the team or myself.

Tuesdays and Thursdays between 11am and 1pm, Leanne will be available at Goonamarris at the rescue for people to nip over and pick up some food for their pets if required.

We have had a vast increase in calls for help, we are asking if anyone is able to donate some food for animals of all shapes and sizes that would be wonderful. Does anyone know any local business that would donate a few bags of food for the people in need...

Could please please click on the link below and suggest our animal Food Bank, there are lots of families and pets in need of our help, this will hopefully limit the number of animals needing rescue space.

We currently have £800 in our charity pot. Which normal supports local causes but with the current situation we would like to donate to 4 good causes etc that need it most.
Who should we support/who needs it most? Ideas please.
