Dachshund’s Rusty and Toby have recently joined Dee is for Dog. Only 8 months old but adjusting to group walks and starting to show good recall.

Well I did it and under 10hrs … just! 😆
Legs and back are bloody hurting as usual but feel so good that I completed it. Really got a march on the last 4 miles, adrenaline took over and even managed to run over the finish line.
A big shout out to those that donated and supported me - thank you! And even my lovely mate DMac on the other side of the world in Oz 🙌 thanks guys ❤️ and thought about my wonderful mum a lot today as there were many parts of the walk with no one around and time to think and reflect 💔

Yay! Halfway point and I really need to graze … 😉 🥪 🍫🥨 and stretch! Enjoying the weather with lots of wood and shade thankfully and chats with lovely people along the way.
15 miles in at 4.5 hrs. Hopefully on track for 10hr finish.

We said goodbye to our lovely Schnauzer Misty last week after a few years with our group 💜 We will miss you lovely girl, you’ve been super easy and such a joy to have on our walks. I will miss your kisses and cuddles and funny vocal noises! 😆❤️

Lovely to have Otis back on walks today, we’ve missed him so much! ❤️
These two boys have not been well the last few weeks. Albie has poly arthritis and Otis auto immune disease. Both have been on high doses of meds and thankfully are responding well and getting better. Love you boys 😍

Well it’s been a while since we last posted due to personal reasons … but we’re now back!
Over the last few weeks we’ve sadly had to say goodbye to Australian Shepherd Z**i, who’s moved to pastures new. Such a gorgeous girl, I started pop in visits for Z**i when she was around five months old and continued with group walks until Covid hit. Typical collie type she would try to herd the other dogs round to play with her and not let up until one of them did! But also being highly intelligent it didn’t take long for her to realise that wasn’t going to work for long and she soon settled down in our group. Thankfully she came back with us last year and we enjoyed chilled walks now she was a bit older 😂 We will miss you Z**i!
Earlier this year our lovely boy Kian passed away. Sadly Kian had cancer and although he finished walks with us last year, we stayed in touch and he enjoyed six months of family time and wonderful walks. Kian and Manu were a fabulous pair with their little quirks and ways. I started walking them around five years ago and they were always such a joy. As usual with paired dogs, they either stuck up for each other or were annoying the hell out of each other! Manu came back to us in February for a further four months group walks but we now say goodbye to her in her older years to chill at home ❤️❤️
And lastly we say hello to the ever so beautiful Ruby, a Staffy x American Bulldog 😍 as you can imagine I’m in my element with this girl and breed! Ruby is super chilled on walks … very vocal in the van when I’m collecting dogs … 😆 and her and Mason have become friends.
Plus our pics over the last few weeks and a very special girl spent some time with us 🤫
