Points – Points will be based on a 5 point system. Points are based on rider not horse. Points are 5 for 1st in the event, 4 for 2nd, 3 for 3rd, 2 for 4th and 1 for 5th. If there is a non-member competing in the events and place from 1st to 5th, their point will be passed to the next eligible member. Worker Points – Each event that is worked is worth 1 point. Must be at least 16 years old to set patterns for the worker points. Must have 15 work points to qualify for prizes. Must work the entire event to receive the point, so if you are assisting in the cloverleaf barrels, you must assist with setting the event up and remain to help set up the barrels or poles that are knocked over and assist in setting up the next pattern. After the next pattern is set, then your worker point obligations will be over. You/ the contestant you are working for will not receive the point if you do not remain till the next event is set up. You must compete in 3 of the 4 events and 4 of the 6 dates to be eligible for prizes and also must have at least the required amount of worker points. Children under 16 are not allowed to work the events without supervision. For those in the competitive events, you only have to work an event/age group to get a point. If you sign up for an event/age group, we will not begin the event until you are in the arena and ready. Example: If you are running the 14-18 age group, you can put your horse up during the 19 and over and work the 5 and under competitive and still have time to get back on your horse for your next event and age group. Also, someone else can work for you. If you are under 16 years old, you can only help set the patterns if you are assisted by an adult to help ensure they are set correctly! You do not have to work the entire event (all age groups)The leadline does not have to have the 15 worker points. They just have to have the membership paid and compete in 4 of the 5 playdays! We will keep up with their points also but all of the leadline will receive a buckle at the last playday and prizes at each playday! All 3 of the leadline events will be done first starting at 11 am! The patterns will be smaller.
