Hey everyone just a quick post-hurricanes update.

The online store is running and regular weekly shipments have resumed. These next few weeks are traditionally some of the best times weather wise to ship isopods before the frigid temperatures and holiday delays hit. If you are in Tampa then local pick-up is still an option, however, I am now in Tampa Heights which is probably closer for just about everyone.

We also have our local Tampa Repticon show coming up in a couple weeks at the State Fairgrounds November 9th and 10th. After that we have Orlando Repticon December 7th and 8th.

I have never felt the need to do something like this but unfortunately we were one of the many victims of both Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton that ravaged the Tampa Bay area the last two weeks.
Hurricane Helene took the place we called home, our furniture, our vehicle and weeks of work. It was absolutely devastating to lose so much and have to find a new home AND move within 48 hours without a car when 1000s of others were trying to do the same thing. The move was the most stressful and disheartening 24 hours of our lives but it was over and we could finally rebuild. Or so we thought.
Hurricane Milton rocked us days later. Normally it wouldn't have been so bad to be out of power for days but we still had no car and were unable to sufficiently stock up on essentials because everyone was doing the same. Cell service didn't exist and we had no clue when things would return to normal. Then I broke a tooth and had to have emergency dental surgery during all this. We finally have power now but the majority of Tampa Bay is not even close to being back to normal and it could be some time before our normal jobs resume. Insurance so far has either completely denied our claims or at best given us offers 1/6th the value of what needs to be replaced.
So now I'm adding a donation page to our website for a short time. I do not expect anything from anyone, many of you are our own friends and neighbors who are also trying to keep themselves together in this difficult time. But if you are willing and able I wanted to give the option. I plan to design some new stickers just for those that donate but I've got to recover from this dental surgery first.

Our Crested Gecko dropped his tail during the move :( the only thing I wanted during the move was for them to handle it calmly. It breaks my heart he felt threatened enough to permanently drop a body part after almost 7 years of being whole. I know it's fine for them to be a frog butt but I was proud to have an older crestie that still had his tail.
