Dog fouling in our lovely village is out of control. Too many dog walkers are allowing their pooches to foul on the pathways, pavements and public spaces and are not picking up their mess and disposing of it accordingly.
It is an offence to allow your dog to foul on public land and to not pick it up. Mid Suffolk council are able to give a £50 on the spot fine and take individuals to court, with additional fines costing up to £1000.
If you see anyone flouting the law, please feel free to report it to the local authority. You can do this by completing an official dog fouling form and you can submit it online and request a reply from the council.
Together we can make a difference. Let's not allow others to continue to disrespect our public spaces.
