I think this may be the first year we didn’t bring a dog to participate in the “Walk to End Alzheimer’s”. too many errands before. But a friend gave me a couple of dog capes (bibs) so they got to participate after when we walked at home.

I have said for a long time that dog training is all about learning how to communicate with our dogs, and that it’s important to remember that communication goes up and down the leash. We need to listen as much as talk to our dogs. - Well i guess i don’t have to think too hard about what she is telling me here. Im off to play with the dog.

It’s puppy season! Scenting dogs is starting puppy classes at the Canine Human Enrichment Center in wi******er VA. It’s a unique facility for dog training 8 acres of fenced fields and woods to explore.
