Last weekend was the Deep South Region Dressage and Show Jumping Rally and open show. Our River Riders Pony Club had participants in both dressage and show jumping. We also had a couple in the open show. Everybody did a great job with the strange weather! Saturday the high was around 70 and it was gorgeous but Sunday the high was in the 50s with lots of wind. Great job to the riders and horses 🐴 💜

Only almost 2 weeks late but I think everyone is still trying to recover from this show 😂 we had an amazing turn out to the LEC Combined Test. It was a busy weekend but so amazing! I can’t thank everybody enough for everything from the parents that helped me with Jolene and brought food to the clients that helped haul horses to the students that helped with jump crew and made sure to be in the arena at the right time. A special thank you to my feeders back home and my mom and sister for all the help at the show. It truly took a village to make this happen with 13 riders.
🦄Dorothy S./Ella 🥉 in beginner novice ending on her dressage score of 32.3
🦄Annabelle/Scout 🥇 and champion of beginner novice ending on 26.94 even with a rail down!
🦄Happy got back in the show ring after a year and was a bit too excited for his own good but still ended on his dressage score of 39
🦄Alicia/Flame taking 🥈ending on a 29.38 dressage score at her first show back in a long time!
🦄Connor/Buster 🥇and champion of pre mini amoeba on a 26! (Connor’s mom also casually brought and showed her horse and got 🥇 and champion of her division. What a family of champions!)
🦄Elena/Voodoo 5th in pre starter at her first show with Voodoo in a huge division
🦄Molly/Butters 8th in the same huge division and some really amazing riding in stadium!
🦄Nikhol/Melman 🥇for first level tests 1 and 2 and 1st level champion
🦄Tianna/Gracie 🥇 for gaited dressage training 3 and first 1 and champion in gaited dressage
🦄Dorothy T/Buster 🥈 and 🥉 for only her second time at this level for training 1 and 2
🦄Vivienne/Flame 🥈 at her first show ever with a dressage score of 71.25!
🦄Maya/Rudy great effort after a little error in stadium
🦄Angie/Moy last but certainly not least 🥇 and champion in pre starter and ALL AROUND LOW SCORE FOR THE WHOLE SHOW in pre-starter on a 20.75 (side note Angie accomplished this on one of Lagniappe’s awesome lesson horses!)

Sunday we had a great pony club meeting as well and even had the saddle fitter out at Purple Rein.
I am still so proud of everybody for this show- amazing facility, clients, horses, riders, parents and riders = amazing weekend!

Failed on the pictures (other than baby pics!) and a week late but we had a couple of riders go to the Amen Corner Dressage and Combined Test! Both riders had a move up this show and did a great job 💜💜
Next weekend we look forward to a big turnout for the LEC Combined Test!

Last weekend was a gorgeous weekend for the Fleur de Leap HT! We only had 2 riders this time around but it was a perfect time to get these two horses out to see the new jumps! We also got to debut our PRF glittermarx. Thank you so much Glittermarx! 💜💜💜and as always thanks to everyone behind the scenes making it all happen.
This was Molly’s first horse trial and although she didn’t have the ending we wanted she had a nice dressage test and a beautiful jump round until the last jump. Lessons were learned and she will be back to conquer it again soon. Molly is one of the hardest working students and rides Butters like a rockstar!
Nikhol and Melman came in 6th after a tough few months of trying to get back in the game. Going clear cross country was a huge highlight of the weekend!
