Bonny Doone Kennel offers boarding, day care, grooming, pet massage and more. Our entire focus is on the safety, health, and happiness of your dogs. The owner and the staff are focused on providing tender, caring treatment for your pets. We set ourselves apart with a small people to dog ratio, so that we ensure your dog gets the personalized attention, care and love it deserves! Each dog at Bonny

Doone has its own comfortable kennel – we have 20 rooms total for them. Outside, the dogs have 7 individual play yards where they have freedom to run and enjoy themselves. We also do play dates for multiple dogs by request. We offer cat boarding too in a separate

Just to let my friends know, we at Bonny Doone Kennel are following the news about the "new" canine respiratory disease and are keeping in touch with several of the Napa vets. I was invited by my close friend Dr. Diana Phillips to watch a zoom lecture by Dr. Scott Weese and associates yesterday. I encourage folks to check out his blog "Worms and Germs". I also want to remind my customers this is one reason we don't do group play and opt for individual exercise sessions. We will continue our health and safety protocols and remain firm in requiring vaccines be up to date. We hope Napa Valley doesn't experience an increase in CIRDC (canine
infectious resiratory disease complex) So stay safe out there!

Autumn Greetings from Bonny Doone Kennel

I love my dogs. I love your dogs. And I love taking care of them. It is for that very reason that I am going to require the canine influenza vaccine starting September 15. I've checked with other kennels in the bay area and most require it. My personal veterinarian thinks it is a good idea as a preventative measure. This vaccine initially is a 2 part procedure given 2 to 3 weeks apart, then annually. This vaccine is in addition to the Bordetella we require every 6 months. Like the Bordetella vaccine, the flu vaccine doesn't prevent all cases of disease but does set up in the dog's system a response to exposure that lessens the severity of the illness.

I also know how hard it is to get an appointment with your vet. Please call me to discuss any concerns you have, especially about scheduling any future visits. We strive to create a happy and healthy environment for all our guests and look forward to providing your dogs with the best loving care possible.

Looking forward to drier weather Our runs are covered partway so even when it’s raining the dogs get a chance to go outside

The dogs are turned out 4 times a day. No we don’t do group play. So we also never have group chaos or fights. They still have lots of social interaction and opportunity to run and stretch. Or sunbathe when the weather is fine.
