I’m reaching out on behalf of a young stray dog who urgently needs a foster or rescue placement. We’re offering full vetting, neuter, and a $500 pledge to support his care.
About the Pup
Breed: Rottweiler/Lab/Pitt (?) mix
Age: ~1–2 years old (not certain)
Gender: Male (not yet neutered)
Temperament: Calm, sweet, and very timid — he’s gentle and non-reactive, just scared and in need of a safe place to decompress
No Microchip Found
His Background
Found in a dumped field near trailer parks in Houston (77083)
Was seen hiding under cars and trucks, panting in the heat
Took shelter in neighborhood bushes, but is now being shooed away as residents trim landscaping and remove hiding spots from him.
Despite it all, he remains very gentle — just uncertain and looking for safety
Current Status
Boarded: Currently at a dog daycare in Pecan Grove (Richmond, TX)
Medical: Fully vaccinated and vet-checked.
Heartworm NEGATIVE
Intestinal worms NEGATIVE
Support Available:
Neuter surgery covered
Full vetting completed

What We’re Looking For:
A foster, adopter, or rescue who can help him come out of his shell
A quiet home or experienced foster who can work with a shy but loving pup.
