Rest in Peace Colby Jack ❤️
Colby was forever my best friend growing up, we got him when I was 9 years old. Some of my favorite memories include training him basic commands to working on agility, taking him with us on family trips up north and running alongside the four wheeler. Colby was the most loyal, loving, goofy, obedient, kind and adventurous dog I’ve ever gotten the pleasure to own, and after 15 years of being a loyal companion he has passed onto the rainbow bridge; he was loved and will be missed by so many people. Until we meet again sweet boy ❤️🌈👼🦮🐾🕊️

Did you know? Dogs must be 24 months or older for OFA Hip and Elbow certification, and 12 months or older for Cardiac, Patellas, and Thyroid certification. There is no age minimum for eye certification, nor for DNA, since DNA does not change as the dog ages.
The OFA also does Preliminary evaluations on hips and elbows before 24 months of age. However, they will need to be re-evaluated again for a final certification once the dog reaches 24 months.

Gaia Canines was founded in 2020. We raise primarily French Bulldogs, however we also have Beagles and American Staffordshire Terriers. We are determined to raise healthy, gorgeous well bred puppies to the AKC breed standard. We take great pride in the dogs we own, breed and show, as well as the puppies we produce for generations to come. Our dogs are always genetic and health tested prior to planned breedings, and are carefully selected to produce only top quality. Our dogs are always kept on a high quality kibble, and are always kept up to date on boosters and rabies vaccines. In additional, our dogs are always raised in home. We do not believe in having dogs always kenneled.
Gaia Canines is owned by an LGBT+ couple, Liv & Lex. We have both always had a huge passion for animals, and have always wanted to raise our own. Lex grew up loving, handling and training dogs her entire life. Liv grew up raising Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, and other small animals to show, and in addition started showing AKC Conformation bred Beagles and has been hooked on the sport of showing canines since! When we got together, we decided we wanted to raise dogs but did not have the means to at the time, so we rescued and fostered for a year or two before we could finally get our own quality breeding dogs.
It is very important that our puppies end up in their forever homes, so we are very thorough about scanning all potential adopters. We want our puppies to always have the best home possible, we are very careful to make sure they will end up in the right hands. For this reason, we do have puppy applications on our website. Our website will contain most current & updated information regarding our available dogs and puppies, as Facebook restricts animal sales so this page is strictly for sharing pictures and information.
We currently do not participate in any dog related sports, however we will start training our dogs Summer 2020 for Conformation, Dock Jumping, Scentwork, Agility & Obedience!
