Meet Felicity, a bundle of energy and joy wrapped up in a furry package of love. Felicity’s bright spirit and playful heart will make her the perfect addition to any family. She loves the outdoor and enjoys going for runs, making her an ideal partner for anyone with an active lifestyle. But she could just as easily curl up with you on the sofa to enjoy a good show and chill. But Felicity’s charm doesn’t stop there: she is the most friendly dog you’ll meet, insisting on greeting everyone she meets (even strangers) with a wagging tail and an eager “hello.” She’s great with kids, dogs and cats too.

Weighing just over 10 lbs, our little Dario is an absolute darling. 😍 He was malnourished, full of fleas, and suffering from skin disease when he met our foster Susy’s young son, then followed him all the way home. Now he’s all recovered and ready for his forever home!
It’s likely that he was abandoned by his previous family as a puppy, because he is a lap dog that loves nothing more than to be showered with love by his human. 💕 He’s friendly and affectionate, eager to play with other dogs. And he has a cute quirk of chasing his tail in circles.
Taking care of Dario is easy-peasy: he rarely barks and walks well on leash. We think he’ll be good with kids and okay with cats (he does run after them, but in a playful way).
This pup has been through a lot in his short life, but he hasn’t let that break his spirit. Will you give this lovebug the loving home he deserves? 🥹

✨Help us find a home for our dog of the week, Abba✨ We can’t believe this sweet girl still hasn’t received any applications! 🥺 She’s affectionate, smart, well behaved, and just all around lovely to have around—the perfect package. 💕 She’s been with us for over 6 months now and deserves to find her furever home. To no fault of her own, she was abandoned by her previous owner when the owner moved back to the U.S, when she was only around one year old. Please share her post and help us find a home for her 🙏

Your gift could mean a full belly, a safe home, or a life-saving surgery for the hundreds of dogs that we save each year. In 2023 we were able to:
* 🏥 Help 400 dogs and 88 cats get spayed/neutered ($24,400 USD)
* 🏠Find loving homes in the U.S. for 102 lucky Meximutts
* 🍖Provide 10,741 pounds of food to malnourished dogs on the street ($7,890 USD)
* 💊Give 230 tick and flea medication to street dogs ($2,490 USD)

No amount of donation is too small - help us turn $2,000 into $4,000 for our furry friends in need! 🐕💕We are a 100% volunteer-run organization that relies entirely on donations and adoption fees to care for the dogs in need. This means that all your donations go directly to the dogs. Without contributions from generous donors like you, we would not be able to continue our life-saving work.

A big shoutout to our amazing community! 🙌 Your support for “Diego’s Den” has been pawsitively incredible! You've shown up in a big way to assist a local independent rescuer, and we're beyond grateful! Thanks to your kindness, we've made some PAW-some upgrades for the dogs and Diego.
Our next goal is to fence off another dog area for the small/medium dogs and have a quarantine kennel/cage. Right now it’s all one big dog area, but we need a safe place for new rescued dogs and a space for dogs that are dog intolerant or dog selective.
Here is what we’ve done so far over the past 2 months (Thanks to YOUR donations and support and to our amazing project manager, Marilyn):
✔️10 bags of dog food bought for the 14 dogs on the property (some dogs have been adopted in the past months - YAY)
✔️He now has a bathroom sink and toilet with running water
✔️A small tile countertop in the the kitchen
✔️New bed, bedding, rugs, curtains for Diego’s room - a HUGE thank you to our anonymous donor who made this happen for Diego!
✔️Pallets to keep the dog houses off of the ground and out of the water(when it rains).
✔️New fencing cross dividing the front and back of the property.
✔️A safe and working front gate has been installed to access the dog yard.
✔️The open dog “barn” area is now paneled on two sides to breve the rain and wind from getting on the dogs.
✔️The main front gate to the property has been fixed so that we have easier access to the property and the animals.
✔️We bought Diego a wheelbarrow and a weed eater to help keep the property clean for the dogs.
✔️New water pipe has been run from the street to the house with a working faucet for easier access to water for the dogs and Diego (he did not have running water on the property until now).
✔️Three new dog houses, and red gravel was spread all over the property has been used to prevent the mud from overtaking the property.
✔️A microwave was donated
Learn more about Becky, our pet of the week 🐾 Just a month ago Becky would freeze and run when she got any attention, and now she just can’t get enough of it (especially when her foster sister is getting some). 😝 Head rubs, belly rubs, she wants them all! We can’t believe the transformation we’ve seen in this gal. Now all she needs is a forever family! 🏡❤️
A cute fact about Becky: Since she recently learned the command “sit”, she’s started associating sitting with everything that’s good. So when she wants some extra love or attention, she will just come over to you and do SIT 😆

💖ADOPT ME 💖 Becky may seem gentle but this rat terrier mix has a fierce side too🦁 whether it’s hunting for toys or snacks, she does it with her signature swiftness and stealth. ⚡️
Some fun facts about rat terriers: once commonly found as farm dogs and hunting companions, they are now considered a rare breed. They’re known for their intelligence and alertness, playfulness and devotion to their families, and, of course, for their natural hunting abilities. This unique combination of traits makes them wonderful, loyal companions with interesting personalities to boost. They are a hardy breed with an average lifespan of 16-19 years and have naturally short, low-maintenance coats that practically don’t require any grooming.
Please share Becky’s story or find out more about her at bapbr.org (link in bio)
Adopt Becky! 💛 As much as she enjoys her alone time, Becky is at her happiest when she’s hanging out with her foster sister. They love to go on adventures together and she feels more brave and secure when she’s around her.
This adorable gal is ready to find her forever home - read on to find out more about her:
Becky is a remarkable pup that has overcome her many traumas from the past to transform into a loving and trusting dog within mere months. She’s still a teeny bit awkward around her companions but the awkwardness is part of her charm! Fun fact: Becky is part rat terrier, and she packs a lot of muscle and agility in a small frame. She can outrun you every time and will surprise you with her sharp hunting instincts.
She is the perfect, versatile companion because she can be as low-key or as outdoorsy and energetic as you want her to be. She’s quiet, respectful, and great on leash! www.BAPBR.org (link in bio)
Say hello to Becky, our pet of the week. ✨While she is usually calm, when she gets excited, she fills up the whole room with her boundless energy (see video 😂). Who could say no to those twinkling eyes and waggy tail?
