I found an appropriate video for the occasion in my photo's archive.
Of course I do not know much about Sylvester's first 8 years, but am certain that most of those years were not ideal. Due to some of his behaviors, I feel that he spent a lot of time in a small kennel, with very few potty breaks. On the flip side, there seems to have been a "happy time" in his past too, I suspect that he may have been a road partner at some point - he loved to go on road trips!
For the almost 26 months that he was here, he was the best companion. He was such a sweet & smart boy! He was also the most agreeable housemate ever - he kept his area neat & tidy.
I said all of this to say, please take time today & everyday to be thankful. Thankful for your family, friends, pets, blessings, etc. Sylvester landing here with me was a blessing, I thank God for the time that we had together. 🐾😇❤️

Mom got a new wagon & I enjoyed my wagon ride today!
Mom heard back from the vet this morning regarding my liver function testing that I did last week. The vet had suspected that I may have a liver shunt - or simply stated, my blood going back to my heart is bypassing my liver, rather than traveling through the liver & being filtered. However, my bloodwork came back good, not indicating a liver shunt. Mom said that she is just going to continue to monitor me for now.
Overall, I am doing well. I am a happy boy & my tail never stops wagging. 🐾🥰❤️
Mom & I decided to go to the park this evening. We had a nice time. The weather was so moderate today. 🐾❤️🌅

I did a bunch of rolling in the grass this evening. Today, I made it a special point to roll 1/2 in our short grass & 1/2 in the neighbor's tall grass. 🐾🌅🌟
