Patches for harnesses and collars all have the hook side of velcro on the back.

Ooh, look what just came in! One is adhesive for putting names on spreader bars, and one is heat transfer for patches.

There's another way to customize your gear! If you have velcro patches, I can add velcro onto the bottom strap or backstrap of your harness so you can put your patches on. And if you don't have patches yet, but want to, they're coming up next!

To add velcro to both sides of the harness while it's being made $12. To add velcro to an existing harness (also both sides), $15.

Velcro can also be added to webbing collars for $6

Biothane connectors! With a snap on both ends, these are an easy way to connect a sled or chain for dragging and not have the weight too close and pulling down on the back of the harness.

$17 for 4', other lengths available on request.

Limited colors available at this time. Hot pink, sage green, purple, white, black.

On an unrelated note, I worked my butt off before the last pull I went to and I cleared out the backlog I had!!! So now I'm back to a more reasonable 3 or 4 week turnaround time.

I spend a lot of time thinking about harness fit, and how small changes in strap length or placement affect the fit and function of the harness. And it's gratifying to figure stuff out and get better, for sure.

But spreader bars are where I really get to have fun! I just love using different combinations of all my shiny, sparkly, tapes and films to suit the color combinations in the harness. The top one is staying with me, and the others are going into the mail today.

Coming soon! Another way to customize your harness. Have your dog's name on the spreader bar. Or nickname, kennel name, slogan, the possibilities are endless... Dora, aka Dorabull, is my dog. I think her next one might have to say "A Little Bit Extra"

Have I been keeping my Facebook up to date? Absolutely not. Have I been working my dog? Sadly, not nearly as much as I'd have liked to. But have I been working? You bet! I've been sewing up a storm getting ready to be away from my machines for 2 weeks. 8 harnesses went out yesterday, and a few more will go Friday. A few raffle donations made, and I have a whack of tugs made. The tugs will get their own post shortly.

Now I'm just about ready to go to some dog shows! I'll be in Surrey, BC for the 49th parallel sporting dog club annual ADBA sanctioned top dog and weight pull competition this coming weekend, and in Oregon for the Beaver State APBT Club ADBA sanctioned show and the Ralph Greenwood Memorial. With a bit of sightseeing in between. :) Fun! Fun! Fun!

3 cute little terrier mill harnesses read to go, two with handles one without. L - R, jagd, patterdale, patterdale.

Mill/walking harnesses are totally customizable too. Handle, no handle, two tone webbing, extra D ring, floating ring on the handle? I do my best to accommodate any and all requests. :)

In between other projects, I've been getting stocked up on tugs. Wall climb tugs in suede and canvas, even some skinny ones for the small dogs.

What other types of tugs would you like to see? Double loop handle? Single loop? Hide (cow/deer/goat)? Rabbit?

It's weight pull season! In addition to competitions, there are a bunch of "try it" events, seminars and classes coming up over the next few months. In an effort to try to connect people with opportunities to pull, I'll post some flyers to events, and links to places for classes, that I know of in the comments. If your club/organization/facility has an event coming up feel free to post your location and flyer in the comments. If you offer classes or drop-ins, post your location and a link.
