“as she closes the gate behind her and walks into the paddock she notices her step becomes more steady
she can now hear the birds and cicadas and feel the smooth breeze float by
the horse looks up from grazing and then resumes in rhythm
she leans her body against this creature’s shoulder and can breathe slow and deep
everything in sight is at peace and harmony as the sun lowers on the horizon
time seems to stop but also go too quickly
she walks out of the paddock into the real world and wonders how a paddock can be an almost Narnia type of world”
