Another fun little euro mount project! My Grandpa's Christmas gift! 🎁

I wish I had some before pics of these bucks. These were some of my Grandpa's very first deer. They were cut right off the deer, hide and all, and just hung in the shed for nearly 40 years. Now they can be proudly displayed on the wall 🦌

This unusually warm mid-November weather means time to crank out the european mounts! It's nice to boili & pressure wash without freezing 🥶

Below is the difference between a fresh skull (left) and dead head from '21 (right). The oils soak into the bone staining it and making the whitening process a little more extensive. These guys are cleaned up and ready to whiten!

Last of the '21 bucks! I've been so excited to finish up this guy! Unfortunately this unique guy got hit during the season and broke a leg and half his rack. LOTS of repair work later and he's back to his original self. You don't see deer like this very often 🦌🦌
