The hardest decision I ever had to make!

The Last Battle

If it should be that I grow weak,
And pain should keep me from my sleep,
Then you must do what must be done,
For this last battle cannot be won.
You will be sad, I understand;
Don't let your grief then stay your hand.
For this day more than all the rest,
Your love for me must stand the test.
We've had so many happy years -
What is to come can hold no fears.
You'd not want me to suffer so;
The time has come, so let me go.
Take me where my needs they'll tend
And please stay with me until the end.
Hold me firm and speak to me
Until my eyes no longer see.
I know in time that you will see
The kindness that you did for me.
Although my tail its last has waved,
From pain and suffering I've been saved.
Please do not grieve - it must be you
Who had this painful thing to do.
We've been so close, we two, these years -
Don't let your heart hold back its tears

Truly sad when pet owners do this.

When your dog comes to the dog kennel because you’re tired of him, because he bothers you, prevents you from going on holiday or other excuses...
He sits and waits.
He's waiting for you to come get him.
A second, a minute, an hour, a day, a month, a year --- he's waiting for you.
He doesn’t know why, but he’s waiting because he trusts you; because unlike you, he loves you.
Your dog is not a toy. Think twice before getting a dog. You have the responsibility of a living being and of a family member.

Powerful story..

Harold who was known for his hardened heart and harsh demeanor. He took particular pleasure in tormenting a stray dog that roamed the streets, a scruffy creature with sad, soulful eyes. Every day, Harold would gather stones and hurl them at the dog, watching with a twisted sense of satisfaction as the poor animal yelped and fled. The townsfolk whispered about his cruelty but felt powerless to stop him.

The stray, a resilient and surprisingly forgiving dog named Max, learned to avoid Harold but never held a grudge. Max had an innate kindness, always wagging his tail at passersby and seeking scraps of food with a gentle nudge. Despite the stones and the pain, Max continued to roam the town, his loyalty to the place and its people unwavering.

One night, as Harold took his usual shortcut through a dark alley on his way home, he was suddenly accosted by a group of robbers. They cornered him, their intentions clear and malicious. Harold's heart pounded in his chest, fear gripping him as he realized there was no escape. Just as the robbers moved in, a growl echoed through the alley. Max, who had been scavenging nearby, had heard the commotion and rushed to the scene.

Without hesitation, Max leaped at the nearest robber, his teeth bared and his growl fierce. The robbers, caught off guard by the sudden attack, stumbled back. Max darted and dodged, his bravery a stark contrast to his usual gentle demeanor. He bit and barked, creating enough chaos to make the robbers reconsider their assault. Frustrated and spooked, the robbers eventually fled, leaving Harold shaken but unharmed.

Harold stood there, breathing heavily, as Max approached him slowly. For the first time, Harold looked into Max's eyes and saw not just an animal but a being of immense courage and loyalty. He realized how wrong he had been, how his cruelty had been met with undeserved forgiveness and unexpected heroism.

With a lump in his throat and tears welling up in his eyes, Harold knelt down and extended his hand to Max, who sniffed it cautiously before licking it gently. In that moment, Harold's heart began to soften, the weight of his past actions pressing heavily on his conscience.

From that day forward, Harold changed. He no longer threw stones but instead brought food and water for Max, who became his loyal companion. The townsfolk noticed the change in Harold, a transformation brought about by a dog's unwavering courage and an act of pure, selfless bravery. Harold and Max became inseparable, their bond a testament to the power of forgiveness and the profound impact of a single act of kindness.

Awesome.

🐾POEM OF A DOG🐾
I am the one who always waits for you.
Your car has a special sound that I have imprinted on my senses and I can recognize it among a thousand.
Your steps have a magic timbre.
Your voice is music to my ears.
If I see your joy, it makes me happy!
Your scent is the best.
Your presence is what moves my senses.
Your awakening wakes me up.
I watch you sleep and for me you are my everything.
Your gaze is a ray of light.
Your hands on me have the lightness of peace and the sublime display of infinite love. When you go out, I feel a huge emptiness in my heart.
I wait for you again and again.
I am the one who will wait for you all my life today, tomorrow and always:

I am your dog
