Well well well — Look who retained s***m. More Beijing locale Steppe (Dione’s) Ratsnakes in the making. These guys have an incredibly short period between when eggs are laid to being fully formed and ready to hatch so in about 25-40 days we should see them emerging from their eggs.

This is for the folks that think caring for reptiles is cheap… The best part is, is that I don’t even have that large of a collection! 😵‍💫 Updating my records to make it easier to pull mice for feedings as well as now gearing up for getting females up to breeding sizes for next season now that the Russians and Moellendorfii seem to be hitting that growth spurt FINALLY! This is the adjusted amount we go through (minimum 39 mice) every 7-10 days pending life stage 🤦🏼‍♀️ Not including quail, which I sub or add on pending who needs!
Disclaimer: This is what I find personally works for my animals to stay in peak muscular and lean conditions, given they are very active species. Everyone has different requirements, just as people do 🙌🏻

Some baby Orthriophis spam from what feels like a lifetime ago. Excited to get back into this genus (even though I currently already am with the Moellendorfii, I’m just in denial of the latest reclassification out of Elaphe, despite it making total sense 🤣)
