This is Espurranza! Our latest rescue. She is so sweet and playful! She is scheduled for her spay appointment, this coming Monday January 13th! She will be available for adoption on Wednesday, Jan 15th. Some of you may remember from the previous post that Espurranza showed up in a storm, wet, crying and hungry. But look at her now! Hello Everyone! Happy New Year! We would like everyone to meet.... Esperanza! Really, she should be named, Espuuranza, because that is what she is! A sweet little purr baby.
Esperanza came to us in the middle of a very windy rainy day! She showed up on our downstairs deck, frightened, cold and hungry. And now look at her! A sweet little baby calico girl! She is a little young yet for spaying, but when she is ready, she will be spayed and vaccinated and ready for her new home. For now, everyone enjoy her and all her cuteness overload!

We wanted to share another story that had a tragic beginning but the end of the story was beautiful and filled with hope.
These beautiful kittens were brought to us in such sad state that we almost lost them. Their umbilical cords were still attached and the kittens were starving, freezing and disoriented.
We began our mission of rescue and recovery! The kittens were warmed and lovingly nursed back to health. Their recovery was miraculous and beautiful!

The kittens were spayed and were lovingly adopted by their foster family. Another success story! One kitten at a time. One loving family at a time.

The Napa County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center is overwhelmed after taking in 27 small dogs who were abandoned outside of Calistoga. Every kennel is full, and the shelter is in crisis mode. This heartbreaking situation reflects a nationwide crisis in animal welfare.

At Napa Humane, we provide low-cost spay and neuter services, but we are well aware that we cannot fully meet the overwhelming demand in our community. We simply don’t have the bandwidth to handle all the spay and neuters needed, and this reality weighs heavily on us as we work to do as much as we can.

ADOPTED!!!! We are so pleased to announce that our little Milton, and his little sister Heather have been adopted! They were adopted together and will make their home with their new forever mother, Brigette!!!

We couldn't be happier! Cheers and love for all!!

Look at that face! This is Heather! She is the sweetest, softest, most adorable loving kitten! She is playful, interactive and a regular purr machine!

But WAIT, who is this adorable orange kitty? This is Milton- Equally adorable, cuddly, sweet, soft, loving and kissable. He is Heather's brother! He is fully vetted, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

These kittens came to us at two weeks of age, covered with fleas, malnourished and anemic. Pope Valley Rescue stepped right up nourished and hand bottle these babies. And look at them now!

ADOPTED!!!! Tommy, our orange male and One Sock, our lovely little torti tabby were adopted today!

Stacy and hèr daughter, Krista,found out about our kittens via social media. She reached out to us and quickly made her choice. What a wonderful day for our kitties and for their new loving family. We couldn't be happier!!

Tommy was neutered and One Sock was spayed out our November 23rd clinic. Additionally, they received vaccinations and a microchip!

We still have Milton ( orange male) and Heather ( female torti) available. They too were neutered, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped!
